But for Scars.

And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory. Romans 8:17 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

When in a boxing match the opponent will always land a few shots, many times leaving scars for the rest of your life.

So too it is with the Christians battle.

Make no doubt about it we are in a constant battle when we become Jehovahs children.

Yes we are in continuous battle with satan and his minions but we are also in ceaseless battle against society (more so in the west than in communist countries from my experience). The anti-Christ that goes by the label of liberals are really anti-Christs in their every belief. By anti- Christ it means they are against the morals set down by Jehovah and by default by Christ. Many times they will leave deep scars from battles we both win and lose.

The most severe battles of course are within our own families. They know us best so they know how to cut us deep and many do so with complete gusto. They will cut the deepest.

I have met many who have gone through seminary that are more in line with satan than with Christ and know little more than theology and nothing of having a loving relationship with Christ.

I see many who serve themselves by pretending to serve Christ, this is especially true with missionaries. They are there more to glorify themselves than to share the gospel. And, with many missionaries I have met, they live off of others by pretending to be serving Christ.

“God will not look you over for medals, degrees, or diplomas, but for scars.” Elbert Hubbard

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Christ Helech ‘Olam (The Lord my King Forever) for blessing me with the gift of suffering for You as You suffered for me. I know that when You see these scars You shall look at them, smile at me and say the words I long to here from Thy precious lips: “Well done good and faithful servant.” I give thanks for this grace in Your suffering name. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Why They are Wrong.

For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men that I might by all means save some. Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23 New International Version

Living in China for ten years and in Mexico for three winters I have seen too many Christians with a good heart but bad mind. I have seen them come on short term missions for maybe a month and then go home. That is not long enough.

The proper motto is go long term or stay home.

When I was a teacher in China it would take two months just to get some students interested in listening about Jesus and then another four months to get them to understand the basics and give them the resources (like websites like Our Daily Bread and sermon audio) to grow in Christ.

Too many missionaries go abroad and do not understand the language, culture or ” Go into a Buddhist temple and see how many Gods there is there

As well, if you go with a government interpreter they can tell the people anything and not the message. So you think the people are accepting Jesus when the interpreter is asking them if they want free food.

Another thing is many times they are not interested in learning about Jesus as much as they are interested in learning English for free (I have see too much of that). So you think they have given their lives to Jesus and they are laughing at you because they got free English lessons.
When you t that cause the other families to be jealous? If you do it for one, do it for everyone And another important thing is to live amongst the people.

Yes that may include no internet or mobile or air-conditioning, sleeping on the floor, listening to loud people and animals and eating what you consider disgusting food.

If you are not prepared to go long time on a mission stay home, if you are not prepared to suffer for Christ, stay home.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Rohi (God is our Sheppard) guide Your child to where You want me to be to do the things You want me to do with the tools You abundantly supply in the time You so wisely determine. I humbly request this in the name of Your obedient son that always worked in Your will Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

How to Spot a Wolf.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by
their fruits. Matthew 7:14-16 New King James Version

Wolfs are those who destroy relationships within the church, within the Christian community and within the
personal relationship with Christ. They want you to follow them, not Christ.
Are they peacocks?

Peacocks are those that dress up to impress others. They are self centered not Christ centered. Are they those who like to believe they are something special that you have to pay attention to what they say because they are so wise?

Do they constantly brag about themselves?

They are not humble like Christ, they are proud like Satan. A Christian gives thanks to Christ for what was accomplished not take the credit for themselves.

Do they draw attention to their “holiness?

Praise Jesus. Amen Are they praising Jesus or are they saying look how holy I am? Personally I find them annoying. Jesus says to be considerate of others. How considerate are they if you can not hear the prayer or see the words to the music because they are waving their hands in the air and screaming like a skinned pig of their holier than thou behavior?

Are they unethical?

Do they always go around with a special deal when in fact they are swindlers?

This can be found in missionaries as well as in the church. I have encountered many missionaries that in actuality were just living off the kindness of others and were not accomplishing anything. But, they write flat out lies to impress others to give them money.

Are they parrots? You know?
They say the same lengthy prayers over and over again. Their spirituality in their are an insult to God and personally I can not wait for them to shut up. When they say prayers before a meal the meal is cold before they finish their prayer (and I do mean that literally).    When these filthy creatures slither into a congregation they are to be thrown out fast before they destroy the community.

For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves Acts 20:20-30 New King James Version

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yeshua (God our deliverer and protector) protect me from the wolves that lurk within Your Holy family and bless me with the wisdom, strength and meekness to cast them out of any and all communities they pollute with their presence. I ask this in the mighty name of He who cast out the filthy money changers from the temple Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
