Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Why not give this a try: Say thank you to the stock boys and girls as well as the cashiers at stores. They work hard for little money and receive little gratitude for their hard work.

Give your doctor and thank you card and a home made gift in appreciation for all their hard work. Think about it, they put in long hours and listen to nothing but complaining all day long. That is depressing.

Why not shake a cops hand and thank them for their difficult job. They get crapped on for doing their job and crapped on for not intervening when they cannot.

How about adding pastors, choirs masters, teachers to the list. And you know what?

In doing so, you will find you have a much happier life and mentality.

A grateful life is a joyous life. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Oh, and do not forget to say thank you to our Heavenly Poppa when He blesses you. As well, begin and end your day with saying thank you to Him for all the blessing great and small and see how good of a nights sleep you get.

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father to be shared with others.

There is No Sense Learning Them

We are to be grateful for the blessing of being adopted into Jehovahs family.

The best manner of doing this is to live as He desires us to be. To accomplish this we must emulate Christs demeanour.

We need the Holy Spirit to teach us morality (although we all know right from wrong in its basics, He takes us ever deeper into it). As well as the tools to live it out in our daily life. As this new creation in Christ takes form in our mental, physical and spiritual being we become more and more virtuous.

This is not a one off experience but rather a lifetime commitment.

I have been following Christ for decades and He is still transforming me.

We are a work in progress all the way up to Heavens Gate where Christ will perfect us into the beautiful creation Jehovah intends for s to be. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Now, to the world that walks in darkness, this is extremely offensive. It is great to see someone walk with these qualities as long as they do not step upon that individuals toes.

When you are welcomed into Jehovahs family, you will be bitterly rejected by satans family including your family and old friends. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Believe me I have had plenty of experience where the very same man or woman that commends me for behavior with another becomes extremely offended and offensive when the same situation happens between them and me.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsidkenu (Jeremiah 23:6 The LORD Our Righteousness( for blessing me with teaching me Your inflatable righteousness and guiding me in the manner in which to incorporate it into my daily life. Thank you for helping me live this life even when it goes against the current of the politically correct in this world. I know Your righteousness leads to a more secure and better life that leads all the way to the Heavenly home You have lovingly prepared for me. I exalt You in the name of He who I love to emulate in righteous living Jesus Christ. Amen

Do Not Act Like

Do not act like the sinful people of the world. Let God change your life. First of all, let Him give you a new mind. Then you will know what God wants you to do. And the things you do will be good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

I remember when a young man they used to have movie critics that would rate whether movies were good or bad. From my experience when I listened to them and paid good money to watch the film, it was a horrible film. The films they panned were the ones I enjoyed watching.

I remember talking with work mates about new series that came out on TV. Even though they did not like the shows they watched them because they wanted to be with the in crowd.

However, I consider them to be cattle just being led by the puppets of big business and foolishly wasting their money to stay cool all the while becoming slaves to the bank by going deeply in debt. None of them look to happy to me.

Now, following the advice Jehovah has blessed me with in the Bible has brought me a lot of wisdom, peace, comfort, strength, integrity and joy. Many believe I am weird for living the Christian lifestyle.

I listen to Jesus rather than man because He only wants what is best for me and has the knowledge to guide me on how to attain it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Deah (God of knowledge. Romans 11:33) for blessing me with Your supreme knowledge for every aspect of my life. You have prevented a lot of tragedy in my life as well as have blessed me with living a meaningful life. I thank You in the name of the best Guidance Councillor Jesus Christ. Amen

Center Your Mind on Them.

 

Finally,believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. Philippians 4:8 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Let us take a test okay?

Where do you spend more time: A watching trash on the TV or B watching Christian movies on the internet?

Listening to that rubbish they call music on the radio or listening to and singing along with Christian joyful praise music on the radio?

Which do you spend more time doing: serving self :playing sports, going shopping, or any other activity(there is nothing wrong with these activities unless they are thieves which rob time away from serving Christ) or serving Christ?

Do not sit there and shake your head in agreement and then do nothing about it, make a concerted effort to change your habits.

Of course it is a necessary requirement to go to a make over artist. And, as we all know, The Holy Spirit is the best make over artist. Ask Him for direction in your life to change your habits and then obey His guidance.

This takes time. You are not only be molded into a new creation but you also have to have the filth of the world purged from your mind and from your spirit.

Do not just think about making changes in your life, pray to Jehovah on how to make those changes and then do it. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:2 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you El Deah (God of knowledge) for sanctifying me with Your word in every aspect of my life. Thank You Holy Spirit for grace in assisting me to conquer the destructive mentality in me so that I may continue to grow into the cherished child my Beloved Father in Heaven desires me to be. I give all glory unto You in the name of He who is the best remodeler of the soul Jesus Christ. Amen
