Are You a Belcher?

Image

Indeed, they belch with their mouth; Swords are in their lips. For God is my defense. Psalm 59: 7&9 New King James Version

Have you ever encountered a loud mouth?

Their words just belch out of their mouths without them even considering what they are saying. Many times their words are intended to be like a sword piercing the heart of their intended victim. They are mean spirited. They like to say and or do things to intentionally upset souls and then they laugh in their wicked delight. On the internet they are called trolls.

Do not allow them to get under your skin.

I just meekly (meekness means you are firm but keep your temper under control) inform them that that behavior is not tolerated by me and if they can not or will not speak to me with respect then shut up. They become very angry but what can they do? If they become or threaten to become violent just inform them you will call the police (do not go to their level and get in fisticuffs. Brains over brawn will win the battle). When the police arrive inform them that you want them tested for anger management problems. Their cohorts will quickly desert them.

I speak from a lot of experience. In countries where the police are useless I ask them if they have mental problems? Is this the way you consider respect (which means a lot in many countries)?

If the problem becomes serious consider getting counseling. A good place to get help is Focus on the Family and RBC.org (look up the booklets on that site).

And of course it is always best to go to the best guidance counselor Jesus Christ. Because he walked the earth there is not one thing we have experienced that He did not go through so who better to get help from than someone who has walked a mile in your shoes, is all wise and all powerful?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yeshua (God our protector) protect me from the wicked tongue lashers and bless me with the wisdom, grace and meekness to deal with them in the same manner as Your wisest, strongest son Jesus Christ. It is in His mighty, loving and caring name I pray. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

The Most Important Three.

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father. John 15:26 New King James Version

flowers caressing blazing red cross

The three most important attributes every Christian must always carry with them in everything they do.
One: Grace.
Grace: a controlled, polite, and pleasant way of behaving, disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency, the quality or state of being considerate or thoughtful Merriam-Webster Dictionary
This attribute must be carried in our conversation and in our deeds.
Now many times it will be beyond our power to exhibit that with difficult men or women. That is when we need the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish this.
Two: Wisdom.
Wisdom: knowledge that is gained by having many experiences in life, knowledge of what is proper or reasonable: good sense or judgment. Merriam-Webster Dictionary
Now the best way to attain wisdom is through the guidance freely and generously provided by the Holy Spirit.
I have seen many men and women repeat stupid mistakes again and again, sometimes for decades.
Wisdom is having knowledge and putting that knowledge into practice. Stupidity is refusing to learn and continue to make bad decisions Joseph- Anthony: Green.
Many times this will require good Christian counseling.
So if you continue to make bad choices for friends you need to understand why and what you must do to correct the manner.
Sometimes that power and knowledge is beyond our capabilities. Again that is when we need the Holy Spirit to help us.
I used to allow men and women to walk all over me. It was not until I surrendered to the Holy Spirit that He blessed me to a good Christian councilor and the power to change that. Now my life has a lot less problems and heart ache.
Three: Meekness.
Meekness: enduring injury with patience and without resentment Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Meekness does not mean weakness. Meekness means strength Joseph- Anthony: Green

There are many wolves out there who will try to bait you into a fight just to laugh at you when you get upset. Again we are to rely upon the Holy Spirit to help us.

I used to be an easy target for these vile creatures until being blessed to rely upon the Holy Spirit to help me. Now when these filthy wolves try their wickedness upon me by the Holy Spirit help it is turned around on them because I do not take their bait. They look like fools and become enraged and leave me alone.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah (God our Provider) for blessing me with providing the best Helper there is and for His divine help in the walk You have chosen for me. I joyously and gratefully thank you in the name of He who made this possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Your Worst Attacks Comes From Within

If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:19 New King James Version

HARRASED

Many Christians mistake this to solely mean to those outside the Christian community like Buddhists or Muslims or New Agers.

From my experience, and I have a lot of it, they did not hate me. They either respected my beliefs, tolerated it or ignored it.

Then what could these verses be referring to?

Again from my experience, and I have a lot of it, it was from the false Christians in the church, particularly the wolves (the self righteous ones who are always quick to find fault and condemn others). They put on the façade of being a Christian during the sermon but were the biggest hypocrites before and after the service. They do more to give Christians a bad name and drive others away from Christ and church than the best of Satans minions. When they see Christians they hate us and constantly make false accusation against us and do everything they can do to make our life difficult.

So do not be surprised when your worst attacks come from within the church and not outside it.

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.  Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12 New King James Version

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yehew (God of His people) bless me with the wisdom, strength and meekness (meekness means to keep our tempers under control so we do not fall into their wicked bait to get us into stupid arguments and make us look bad) to always exhibit the same behaviour as our beloved friend Jesus did when encountering the scribes and Pharisees in His time. Bless us with this opportunity to expose their evilness and Your divine love. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who showed the way Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day

How Much Do You Bear Each Other?

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endevouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3

FROM THE HEART

How much lowliness do you exhibit in your life?

Or, do you tend to look down on others because of their physical looks, how much they make or if they have a different accent than you(they need not be from a different country but from a different part of your own country)?

Is your speech gentle and graceful or are you as course as sandpaper? Do you make rude comments or gossip about others?
If someone has an annoying habit do you bark at them or pray for meekness and tolerance? Do you work to keep harmony or do you delight in starting fights and finding fault?

This need not be just in your Christian community.

As Christians we are what the world sees as Christ. How are you doing in your family, at school and at work?

It is difficult if not impossible for us to accomplish these things.

Then how are we to succeed?

We are to humbly ask the Holy Spirit to bless us with the demeanor of Christ so as to glorify Him and draw others to Him.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) bless me with the attributes of Your most holy son so as to exhibit to others Your love and grace in all my words and in all my actions. I humbly request this in the name of the most gracious of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
