Being a Missionary Is

Christ, WILL LEAD

Then Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you [as My representatives].” John 20:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Being a missionary is going Where Christ send you. It may not be to another country, it may be to the next door neighbour. Even though it may seem small and insignificant to you, if it was not important to Jesus, He would not be sending you. You do not need a degree in some seminary, you need a willing heart now. Do not worry about what to say or how, the Holy Spirit will either guide you on what to say or will speak through you.

But when the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify and bear witness about Me. John 15:26 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

An added benefit of this is becoming close to Jehovah as you become His missionary in your everyday life.

“It is in the ordinary duties and labors of life that the Christian can and should develop his spiritual union with God.” — Thomas Merton

If anyone dares to impede you, they had better be aware.

“Behold, I am going to send an Angel before you to keep and guard you on the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Be on your guard before Him, listen to and obey His voice; do not be rebellious toward Him or provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgression, since My Name (authority) is in Him. But if you will indeed listen to and truly obey His voice and do everything that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. Exodus 23:20-22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with Your amazing presence with me throughout the day. May I always be receptive unto Your wisdom and grow ever closer with You every minute of every day. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who I enjoy taking walks with and talking with Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Be on Your Guard.

Image

“Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” Luke 12:15 New International Version

I have been on both side of the coin.

There have been times when I have had a lot and there have been times I have had a little.

It was when I had a lot that I kept on desiring more and more yet my life felt unfulfilled. There were times when I had little but that is when I was closest to Jehovah and felt great contentment.

My personal believe is that covetousness is like a vampire that sucks the life blood from you.

Oh you see these con artists on TV trying to convince you that if you have this big house, expensive car or go on this fabulous vacation on your dreams will come true and your life will be filled with happiness.

How many have gone on those expensive vacations only to get Montezuma’s revenge (diarrhea ) or been struck with typhoons or get robbed or any other numerous disasters. Not only that but not only do you have your problems when you return home but now you have debt as well.

It is the same thing with those houses and vehicles. Yes we all need somewhere to live but does it have to be like a mansion?

Yes we all need some form of transportation but does it have to be an expensive car?

Who are you trying to impress?

I prefer to impress Jehovah with my love for Him and my obedience to Him. I never have to worry about where to sleep, what to wear or what to eat..

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always generously supplying my daily needs in the physical realm and for blessing me with the richest treasure of them all An abundant love affair with You. I exalt You in the name of the one whom I cherish so dearly Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
