A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Being a Missionary Is

Then Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you [as My representatives].” John 20:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Being a missionary is going Where Christ send you. It may not be to another country, it may be to the next door neighbour. Even though it may seem small and insignificant to you, if it was not important to Jesus, He would not be sending you. You do not need a degree in some seminary, you need a willing heart now. Do not worry about what to say or how, the Holy Spirit will either guide you on what to say or will speak through you.

But when the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify and bear witness about Me. John 15:26 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

An added benefit of this is becoming close to Jehovah as you become His missionary in your everyday life.

“It is in the ordinary duties and labors of life that the Christian can and should develop his spiritual union with God.” — Thomas Merton

If anyone dares to impede you, they had better be aware.

“Behold, I am going to send an Angel before you to keep and guard you on the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Be on your guard before Him, listen to and obey His voice; do not be rebellious toward Him or provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgression, since My Name (authority) is in Him. But if you will indeed listen to and truly obey His voice and do everything that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. Exodus 23:20-22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with Your amazing presence with me throughout the day. May I always be receptive unto Your wisdom and grow ever closer with You every minute of every day. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who I enjoy taking walks with and talking with Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

How Is Your Fort?

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior from violent people you save me. 2 Samuel 22:3 New International Version

Now do you notice the important key for protection in this verse?

The Lord is my fortress.

So if a strong enemy is attacking you and you are out on a field how are you going to be protected?
Is it not better to be in a strong and safe fort?

So how can you expect to be protected by Gods fortress if you are in the world and not in His fort?

To be in Gods fort means to have a daily loving and obedient relationship with Him.

So if God asks you to go to Sally Street and you say no, you want to go to George Street and when you get to George Street
and find trouble, why should you expect Gods help? The same is with your relationship.

If the only time you talk with God is when you are a spoiled brat that only talks with Him when you want something from Him, why should He listen to you?

Where as, if you have a loving relationship with Him, can you expect nothing less than protection in His unconquerable fortress?

Thank you Jesus Pyrrand (Jesus my friend) for being my best friend and unconquerable fortress I can always take shelter in. In Your holy and strong name I give thanks. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
