Like a Roaring Lion.

flowers caressing blazing red cross

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 New King James Version

Lions stalk unseen in tall grass. They charge quickly and roar to paralyze their prey. They take their prey with no mercy, many times eating it alive.

So too does the devil and his minions prey upon Christians. Just when you think it is safe is when they attack.

That is why we need the Holy Spirit to be our guide in life. He is like the birds in the trees that sound the alarm when they see the lions approaching. When you have a gut feeling not to go somewhere or do something you had better pay attention. That is the Holy Spirit chirping to you of appending doom.

I can think of when a tempting contract was offered to me and a strong feeling said to not walk but run away from it. It was hard but I obeyed and found out later is was a very bad contract that would have caused me a lot of grief.

It is also why we need good Christian mentors in our lives, because many times they have fallen pray to some of the devils schemes he may be preparing for us.

Prayer: Please Jehovah KaEl (voice of God) bless me to always be attentive to Your protective voice so I do not fall easy victim to one of the tricksters schemes. I humbly request this in the name of He who always exposed the wicked one Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

These are the clothes of Christians.

Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; but above all these things put on love. Colossians 3:12&14 New International Version BE RESPECTFUL

Why not try this: Every day in your morning prayers (and of course being a good Christians you always begin t you?) ask Jehovah to bless you with a heart that is filled with kindness, humilty (being humble is the opposite of being proud and arrogant) meekness (Meekness means keeping your temper under control. How many need this on the morning rush hour?), longsuffering (Long suffering means patience. How many of us need patience in the check out lines in a grocery store or restaurant?) and, the end result will be a Christ centered heart filled with love.

Then, ask Jehovah to bless you with at least one opportunity to express this to someone through out the day.

When you blow it and do not exhibit one these traits, just close your eyes and apologize to God and then, if possible, to the one you were rude to. Keep a diary and write these exploits down.

See how much it changes your attitude.

I know I certainly was amazed.

An added benefit will be that you will find your day much more peaceful, calm and filled with joy and appreciation for how much of these Jesus is with you through out the day.

These are the clothes of Christians.

Of course we also have love and grace but that will be another article, okay?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Hosanna (the Lord our maker) make me a beautiful set of righteous and holy clothes to put on today and every day so that I may glorify You, bless others and enrich myself with the most treasured riches of all. I humbly request this in the name of my mighty and meek king Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Who is the Them?

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with
you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 New King James Version

Who is the them?

Well, in todays politically correct world you can expect to be persecuted for standing by Gods word instead of going along with the crowd (who in actuality are a minority with big mouths).
Take homosexuals for example, try and tell people, even many Christians, that homosexuality is wrong and they are going to hell if they do not repent and see how fast they label you a homophobic.

I find it amusing how they feel it okay to shove their view down our throats but are fanatically intolerant of a different opinion than theirs.

It is the same thing with feminism (try and stop and see how fast they will viciously attack you), animal rights activists (let us see how fast these misguided people who cry because Bambi gets shot purchase at shot gun to kill Bambi because they are eating their food when they move to a farm to grow their own food only to have it eaten by the animals they are trying to protect), minority rights activists (it is interesting that my linage comes from many different nationalities which makes me a minority but I do not count because I am white).

Do not be afraid of them.
Pray to Jehovah for wisdom, grace and meekness to stand against the devil and his minions. He will deliver.

If you want to set up a Bible study group or have a prayer time in school and it is legal in your country, you go ahead and do it.

Learn your rights under the United Nations covenant of economic social, and cultural rights and the Universal Declaration
of Human Rights and fight for them in a legal way. Yes, when it is appropriate, Christians are to stand up for their rights in a meek (meek means to keep your temper under control) graceful and wise manner.

Those who are not prepared to fight for their freedom deserve to be slaves Joseph- Anthony: Green

Why is it okay for Muslims to have prayer rooms in public schools but not for Christians? Why is it okay for Sikhs to wear their turbans to work but wrong for Christians to wear a cross on a necklace? Is that not religious discrinination?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Nissi (God who leads us when we go into battle) bless me with the wisdom, grace and meekness to
defend my rights so that I may worship You and serve You as is myrights. I ask this in the name of the greatest warrior king Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

See the Difference?

That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment Matthew 5:21-22 King James Version

LOOKING TO HEAVEN

I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sisterwill be subject to judgment. Matthew 5:22 New International Version.

This is why it is important to cross reference our Bibles.
In the King James where as it is missing in the New International Version.

Now concerning this passage

Just because we are Christians does not mean we do not have emotions like everybody else.

For anyone to try to manipulate you into feeling bad because you are angry with them for a just cause is destructive to you in your spiritual life, in your mental life and in your physical life.

Holding in anger is destructive and must be dealt with appropriately.  Sometimes that may means seeing a councilor.

If someone intentionally says or does something to anger you (it is noted that wives know the buttons to push to set off their husbands which I heard on a broadcast on Focus on the Family) then they need to get counseling because they have serious mental problems.

From my experience if they refuse to either stop it or get counseling then I stay as far away from them as I can get because they bring me nothing but grief.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yeshua (God our rescuer or deliverer) deliver me from the grips of unwarranted anger and from those who intentionally get their perverted pleasure in intentionally angering others. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who walked away from the scribes s when they tried to bait Him, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
