Instead of Relying on Our

God gives us wisdom when we seek His knowledge and understanding instead of relying on our own.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. And the time must come when warriors must take a stand; because actions speak louder than words, when the chips are down! And they are down all over the place in spades!

The work that must get done will not, unless there are those bold enough to stand up and be counted and do the work; the founding fathers and revolutionary Patriots of America were such people and children of God!
    Amen.

    • I think Christians all around the world are taking that stand now

      • They had better and hopefully are doing so conscientiously; otherwise they will allow the corrupt machine, the political beast to crush them, and it for the moment is holding most of the aces already planning the next play!

2 Thessalonians 3:10 “For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.”

James 2:26 “For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.”

I see how for too long in this mesmerizing time the masses have tried to brush off responsibility or the heavy lifting preferring to be lazy and make excuses, then say let someone else worry about that; and now look where it’s gotten us, into a fine mess and sinking fast!

If they were on a sinking ship in the middle of the ocean all this time, they would have gotten their hineys in gear fast! It’s “all hands on deck” time; God isn’t our personal butler who is always in the ready to do what we are ordained to fulfill which starts by living up to our own individual responsibility and obligation; not looking back and then realizing what we should have taken care of when we had the opportunity but ignored it, that old adage “keeping on your toes” is all it is!

Society generally is now loaded with multitudes of people who are looking for a handout or the easy-peasy way; and are a far cry from being the sort of people that one of a America’s great fathers was speaking to when he had stated the following as a moral imperative in life.

“Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God’s side, for God is always right.”

        Abraham Lincoln

I think all of these additional words are accurate great advice for anyone.

“Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by tyrants.”

        William Penn

“For prayer is nothing else than being on terms of friendship with God.”
        Saint Teresa of Avila

      • It is a repeat of history.

In the good times society becomes marshmallows. In the hard times they mature or they suffer and die.

  2. Reblogged this on Zero Lift-Off and commented:
Quite true and this is why my own father was always right when he told me you need to have a routine and discipline to follow through at all times on your responsibilities and obligations to God and then yourself and others! Being fallen broken children it is a natural reflex almost to seek the path of least resistance just like electricity does when a broken power line arcs and finds the quickest path to ground!

But as spiritual human beings we should learn that the right path is not always and usually isn’t the easiest or most direct; it requires character, stamina and an unshakable determination to accomplish what is right, regardless of the personal sacrifice or pain! We are all fallen and have a long way to climb to get to the summit!

I know these things but still I must pray hard not to lose my footing and slip again as I have countless times, but so thankfully Jesus was there to make sure I didn’t fall, God always knowing what is best for me, but in my case the climb has gotten much more difficult the closer to the summit I have gotten, yet still trusting that I can make it there!
“It’s not over till the fat lady sings” and we’re not “home free” until we are actually with God in His glory!

But regardless of all these trials and tribulations “the greatest gift and opportunity is still before me” as I take each breath and step; I know this so I climb!
