Do you notice that this specifically mentions that it is Gods people we are to help?
We only have so much resources to help.
Why would you help those in the world while those with in the church go with out?
I have seen churches put on lavish meals for the welfare bums to try to bribe them into joining their church. The parasites come in pig out and eat all the food. Those who prepared the meal get nothing. Then these disgusting bums walk out before the Bible study begins. Not one stays. I have witnessed this so many times. What a waste of money.
All the while, there are members of their church that are poor and neglected because the money was spent on the ungrateful, selfish leeches.

Before you give, spend time in prayer and ask Jehovah where the gift is best invested in. He knows where it is best needed. Yes, giving is an investment in Jehovahs kingdom.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Abba (God our Father 1 John 3:1 ) bless me with the wisdom on where to share my time, skill and or finances with those who are in need in Your family. I humbly ask this in the name of He who only shared in His parables those whose hearts and minds were receptive to Him, Jesus Christ. Amen
