A closer walk with our beloved friend.

He is Close to Those Who

The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

When tornadoes hit the best place to be is in the basement. Even though the winds may pick up the house, fling it around and totally destroy it, you are safe in the basement.

So too it is with Jehovah. When financial, physical or mental troubles come, always run into His strong yet gentle arms for protection.

One time I felt the Lord instructing me to take a different route to go to the school I was teaching at. I argued that it was longer but He was insistent. I obeyed and was glad for it. There was a terrible car accident and I would have had to take an even longer route around the disaster.

Even though a lot of times it does not make sense, obey Jehovahs instructions for you. It will prevent a lot of hardship and sorrow later. Joseph a son of Jehovah

But, there is no sense in calling out for help if you do not trust Him.

So if you call out to the Lord for protection and refuse to listen then why blame Him when things go south.

So, if someone is abusing you and He instructs you to get away from them and you refuse to leave, why blame Him for not rescuing you from an abusive relationship?

I know some one who is a live in care giver for a abusive mother. Finally the Lord gave them instructions on how to be loving but firm with their charge. As well, they are to keep their interaction with them to a limited amount. Since obeying Him, there is a lot less stress in my their.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohe Yeshuathi (Psalms 88:1 LORD GOD of My Salvation ) for blessing me with salvation from an abusive relationship. Thank you for teaching me how to behave in a loving but firm manner so that I can shine Your love while refusing to be abused. I greatly appreciate You in the name of He who stood up to bullies, Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be greatly blessed with the knowledge of the proper manner to respond to a bully to shine Jesus’ love while protecting yourself from abuse. Joseph a son of Jehovah

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah
