A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Thank You That You Are

Dear Father,

Thank you that You are a compassionate, merciful God You . I humbly bow before You my Love at Your feet, asking You to bring mercy where judgment has been earned. I am deeply sorry for allowing my heart to be led astray by my own selfish desires and the things of the world, for the ways I have turned away from You, and sinned against You and You alone.

Although I have been a disobedient child of Yours and my sinfulness deserves punishment, You forgive and pardon those who humble themselves before You. Where judgment is warranted, You give mercy.

Forgive me my loving Father and be merciful to me. Soften my heart, God, to be tender towards You, to seek your face, and to long for your presence every moment in my life.

I meekly request this in the name of He who graciously shed His priceless blood for my forgiveness Jesus Christ

Amen.

May you be blessed with abundant joy in your heart filled with love and your life overflowing with laughter every day this year. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I am an unpaid live in care giver for my aged mother. As well I regularly do volunteer work with a local church group helping working poor establish themselves independently. . I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Your prayers are heartfelt, Joseph. I also appreciate how you share all the different names of God. He is indeed merciful. I don’t know which of His names describes His mercy, but that’s my favorite one!

    • Thank you.
Jehovah prefers we pray sincerely, so I believe that is the best was to write them as well. Using the appropriate name makes the prayer all the more reverent.

Jehovah Jireh bless you with the heart to pray fabulous prayers.
