I was Convicted

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14 The Holy Bible, New Living Testament

Recently I was convicted while reading a morning devotional. The Holy Spirit convicted me that the words of my mouth did not match the meditation of my heart. Someone was terribly abusive to me and I said some very unchristian words in anger and frustration (the abuser did not care that her actions caused me great physical pain).

I promptly repented and even though she is still abusive my meditations with my Beloved are in love again.

It does not matter how much anyone is physically and or mentally abusive to me. All that matters is my loving obedient relationship with my Heavenly Beloved. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Heseh (God is love) bless me to always keep my focus on our loving relationship no matter how abusive those around me are. It is the anchor that hows me close to You in those horrible storms. I humbly request this in the name of He who calmed the violent storm on the seas for His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I am an unpaid live in care giver for my aged mother. As well I regularly do volunteer work with a local church group helping working poor establish themselves independently. . I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. I have a family member who was treated bad by their mom their whole life. It wasn’t until the mom was dying that she told her God forgave her for it giving the family member some kind of peace. The mom was tormented and plagued with shame and guilt her whole life about her feelings and nobody knew why.

    I’ll pray for you too.

    • Perhaps the most difficult task ever given to anybody is to be a live in caregiver for a family member. Most receive little thanks and a lot of grief for their efforts.
      Thank you for your prayers.

  2. It was actually my grandma I took care of. I refused to coddle her when I knew people would and would always say “you think the medicine is keeping you here. You don’t think God is keeping you here for a reason and is in control?”

I never knew why… and maybe that was why. For my aunt.

    • That is so true what you said.
For me everybody thinks mom is a great ol gal. They should try to take care of her and see how fast they change their opinion.
The soul you see on the street is often very different than the soul that lives in the house away from the public eye.

      • Yes exactly! That made me laugh only because I would also
Always think “wait… have you met her?!”
She could be sweet but she could also be a pill. 😂
And nobody understood because they never saw it. They just a cute and sweet old lady.

      • That sad thing is that that is so very common.
You should see the scammers in seniors homes, boy they could win an Academy Award with their performances.
