Who Need Your Help.

Do not hide from relatives who need your help. Isaiah 58:7 New Living Translation

This is something that needs to be done so much in todays society.

In the winter time instead of playing sports or playing video games go over and shovel grannies sidewalk and driveway for her in the winter. Cut her grass for her in the summer, rake the leaves for her in the fall. Take her grocery shopping, help with the housework.

If you see someone has problems with money, especially the younger ones, help them make a budget.

If a relative is having homework problems spend time with them and help them.

If someone is having personal problems sit and listen to them and share your experiences with them to help them.

Now that does not give them carte blanche to abuse you like continuously free loading off of you because they spend their money foolishly or refuse to get a job because they are lazy. That is hurting them and preventing them from maturing.

And, being a Christian, everyone that is a Christian is a member of the family.

It is the Christian duty (which is an act of love) to help those who are in need of help (and not waste time nor resources on those who are too lazy to help themselves). Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able) bless me to be able to distinguish between those in need and those who are leeches. Please bless me with the time, resources and skill to help those in need to not only alleviate their needs but to bring them ever closer to You. I virtuously implore You in the name of He who has enabled me to receive the keys to Heavens Gate Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. Dear Brother Joseph,

I miss you! Your blog posts are always so timely for me!

I have a question. I know of someone who used to be a Christian up until his early 30’s, but then, he turned on the Lord. I am not sure if it’s because of his divorce, but now he goes around saying that God does not exist.

In this situation, how would you approach him? He was born and raised in a Christian family and went to seminary school and the whole nine yards. So, it’s not like he doesn’t know the Gospel. However, he took the formal education route and went to get a PhD and three masters degrees and he said that he had been duped and that he was naive to believe that God existed. His heart has hardened. Is it worth trying to reach out to him or should I spend my time preaching the Gospel to others who could possibly be more open to the Lord than him?

    In Him,
    Your Sister in Christ

    • Good morning precious sister.

It sounds as if your acquaintance may be bitter because of his divorce. Yes it is appropriate to talk with him but be prepared for a lot of anger and bitterness to come out. If he refuses to have anything to do with you then it is better to just walk away.

      Your brother in Christ
      Joseph

      • Hi Brother Joseph,

I did as you said and sent him a message. He is ignoring me. I think he needs time to process what I’m trying to tell him. He needs to grieve the divorce, turn to God, confess his sins of unforgiveness in his heart towards the Father, and repent. Right now, he doesn’t want to hear anything about God, so I will leave him alone and spend my time more wisely shepherding my sheep and preaching the Gospel to unbelievers.

Thank you so much for always being here for me and for giving me sound advice! May you experience God’s grace for your obedience to His will for you!

        In Him,
        Your Sister in Christ

      • That is a very wise choice.
        I am honoured to help.
May you be blessed with wisdom to help those who are receptive to it and the resources to help.
