A closer walk with our beloved friend.

But Pray for A

. For His loving kindness prevails over us [and we triumph and overcome through Him], And the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Psalm 117:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

It took many decades to believe this.

There was those terrible yeah buts that always came in like a flash when Jehovah asked me to do something for Him. If you think Moses was good at giving excuses at the burning bush, you should have heard some of mine.

We all go through it.

Jehovah is patient with us.

He begins with most of us by asking small things and enlarging them as our faith in Him enlarges as well. Now there are times when He will ask us to jump over canyons but we need to have faith the the jump will be completed on the backs of angels the Lord sends to help in the jump as well as His mighty hand. I have been through a few of them and He was always there with me, through it all, leading me to triumph both for His glory and for my joy and amazement at just what we accomplished together.

“Be brave. Do not pray for the hard thing to go away. But pray for a Bravery to come that’s bigger than the hard thing.” Ann Voskamp

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Uzam (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) for blessing me with strength to not only endure the hard times but to grow through them to mould me into and every stronger child of Yours. I thank you in the name of the strongest of them all Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with abundant joy in your heart filled with love and your life overflowing with laughter every day this year.

I am an unpaid live in care giver for my aged mother. As well I regularly do volunteer work with a local church group helping working poor establish themselves independently. . I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. “You should’ve heard some of mine”

    Real life. So funny!

    • Thank you.
I am sure Jehovah has great laughs listening to us sometimes.

      • I remember I had to re read, I think it is exodus 4-5, about 7 times because I never knew God was going to kill Moses and thought I read it wrong. He really didn’t want to go.

        I’m cracking up.

      • Most of the great men in the Bible went kicking and whining. Read about Jonah, read about the minor prophets and some of the great ones. They all came from impoverished backgrounds and felt unworthy (read scared out of their minds). Read about Abraham .
Jehovah asks us to do what we believe is impossible (and down right crazy) but when we obey we witness His amazing providence in our lives and incredible accomplishments in our lives. I know folks that grew up with me are stunned to learn of what has occurred through out my life.

  2. I don’t know what I would do without His patience. That’s not true, I’d be making a messy mess at every turn. Weight not always understand but thank goodness God does, and His plans for us are infinitely better than we could ever imagine 🙂
