We Must Prefer the Invisible Realities.

GOD GIVE A HOME

So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable. 2 Corinthians 4:18 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We must prefer the invisible realities of eternity,to the visible things of time; and amid all that is . . . dazzling to sense, gratifying to appetite, and dear to passion.

By faith, spend a life of . . . self-denial, mortification of sin, and separation from the world.

Yes, the world says, buy my razzle and dazzle and you will by happy. But it is like a junkie. Once the high of your new toy has worn off, you need to go out and foolishly spend your money on something else to get you your high of happiness. In the end, you end up with nothing but misery as you become deeply in debt and your toys break down or become obsolete.

For those of us in Christ however, He reigns in our heart which is not visible to the outside world. He promises us a world we have never seen nor can imagine. We trust Him when He promises a home in Heaven just for us even though we cannot even imagine what it will be like. And, best of all, He promises the ultimate high, that of just being with Him to which nothing else can compare with.

I look forward to the ultimate high that you never come down from, that of spending an eternity in the ultimate love affair with Jesus. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you El SIMCHAH GIYL (God my Exceeding Joy) for blessing me with the purest ecstasy of joy in a loving relationship with You. I praise You in the name of He whose presence makes my heart dance a wonderful gig of joy Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
