A closer walk with our beloved friend.

He is Worthy Of

BE STILL

Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Think of the one relative that you loved as a child when growing up. When they told you something you trusted them that is was the truth.

How much more is Jehovah worthy of our trust? The longer you have walked with Him the longer the list is (which is why it is important for us more mature in the family to come along beside one not as mature as us and help them by sharing events in our lives where Jehovah has come through for us). Because He has come through for us in the past our obedience unto Him should expand in the present and in the future which is a form of faith in Him. We do this because we have confidence in His providence even though some times it does not make sense to us.

“God is God. Because He is God, He is worthy of my trust and obedience. I will find rest nowhere but in His holy will, a will that is unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to.” Elisabeth Elliot

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for always being faithful to Your numerous promises to me. May I always be a faithful child to You. I give thanks for this blessing and make this vow in the name of Your most faithful son Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I am an unpaid live in care giver for my aged mother. As well I regularly do volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and with a local church group helping working poor establish themselves independently. . I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Your cats are beautiful. ❤

    • Thank you.

I take photo’s of them and make them into Christmas cards or get well cards and share them with moms friends and the police, fire department and nurses at the hospital. They love them.

The white one- snowball- is like a big brother to the other ones.

      • Aww. That’s such a great idea! And I could tell the white one is a caretaker. He reminded me of my black cat, Cleopatra. She always holds my orange guy’s paw, bathes him, etc. I’m grateful to have her. She makes me smile 100x/day.

        Enjoy your day!

      • It sounds as if Cleopatra is a good care giver.
Animals show us Gods love towards us in so many ways. If only we would love Jehovah as much as we love the four legged gifts He blesses us with. We thank Him every day for the gift of the three cats He has blessed us with.

        Have a great day

      • She is! And she’s thorough, lol. This is her:

        Keep up the great posts!

      • Your cat is very beautiful. She reminds me of Sammy. He was a cat we adopted that was kept in a cat cage for the first three years of his life. He slowly came around with a lot of loving on our behalf. I buried him in our flower garden. It felt like a slight electric shock when he passed. I stayed by his side in the vets office and buried him amongst our flowers.

She reminds me of Snowball. He very thoroughly washes the other cats. We only have three now.

Thank you for your encouragement and I like your articles as well.

  2. I’m sorry for the loss of your poor kitty. I can’t bear the thought of losing Cleopatra. She’s the only thing that keeps me going most days. She’s very funny, very girly (she’s the only cat I’ve met who has eyelashes), and very sweet. Quick story:
I was working at Petco (a very bad place 👎), and when I got to work one morning, she was in a kennel, crying loudly enough for the whole store to hear. She’d arrived with two brothers, and someone adopted both of them and left her alone.
I took her home that night.
For three days, she hissed at my orange guy, who looked like I’d broken his heart. For years, he slept with his head on my shoulder and greeted me at the door when I got home from work. I thought I’d done a good thing by bringing him a new friend to “replace” one who’d died years earlier.
The third night, I was sitting up in bed, writing, and my orange guy was lying against me. Cleopatra hopped up on the bed, and I thought, oh, no. 😔 Instead of hissing, she laid down in front of Apollo so that she was facing him, and she placed her front paws against his.
    I melted … and took a picture.
    They’ve been friends ever since.
