trust in God

Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval. By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Faith is not something that is instantly instilled in us when we become Christians. It is only accomplished through a lot of failure. We all fall face down in our walk with Christ.

Satan is a master at instilling doubts which is the murderer of faith.

When we fail the Holy Spirit gently picks us up and teaches us again to have faith. Then when the tempter comes again we are stronger to resist his wicked wiles. It is accomplished through a lot of experience. When our faith is tested, we need to reflect back on Jehovahs deliverance, strength, guidance and resources to achieve complete and total victory.

That is why we need not only to be patient with baby Christians but to use our experiences to encourage them. It is accomplished through a personal experience with the Holy Trinity.

Finally, there of course, can be no victory without a loving obedient relationship with the supreme power of all faith Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is only through their blessing that have triumphant and powerful faith.

“I am inwardly fashioned for faith, not for fear.  Fear is not my native land; faith is.  I am so made that worry and anxiety are sand in the machinery of life; faith is the oil….  A Johns Hopkins University doctor says, ‘We do not know why it is that worriers die sooner than non-worriers, but that is a fact.’  But I who am simple of mind think I know;  We are inwardly constructed…for faith and not for fear.  God made us that way.  To live by worry is to live against reality.”Dr. Stanley Jones

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Roi (You are the God who sees) for blessing me that You see everything in advance so know the best path for me to take in life even when it does not make sense to me at the time. I exalt You in the name of He whose light guides me unto Heavens gate Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Hi Brother Joseph,

Yes, you are right. It takes a lot of effort and work on our end to maintain the fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

I am very fortunate to find a Christian fellowship that is focused on shepherding the babies. Each morning, I have morning revival over the phone with at least one sister (sometimes up to 3) and we spend time calling on the Lord’s name, pray reading, and studying scripture.

I find that that is a good start to fuel me through the rest of the day. At night, I read the “Bible” alone and once a week, I have a phone call with a sister to read and study scripture. It has not been easy, but it has been well worth it for the joy and peace of mind I have gained. All of this effort and hours put in is enough to be counted as a part time job.

Hope you’re well. May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly this season and the coming year!

    Your sister in Christ

    • Wow, that is very impressive. I applaud you.

Being an introvert I cherish my time alone with our Beloved Father.

Since quitting smoking I have explosive energy. As such an ipad is taken on long walks (about five miles). During rest time books written by the old boys (before nineteen hundred) are read and it is talk time.

Or, sometimes the old hymns are played on a mp3 and love songs are sung unto Him.

Boy, are we in close communion during these walks.

Things are going along fine. Thank you for asking.

Is there anything you would like me to join in prayer with you?
      Your caring brother in Christ.

      • Thank you so much for offering to pray with me! I have a sister in Christ, her name is Amber and she is an international student from China. She is having difficulties finding a job in the U.S. She has until the end of January to land a job that will also help her renew her visa so that she can live and work here. As she has been getting rejected over and over again after her job interviews, she has confided that she no longer believes that the Lord will deliver His provisions. I have been praying to the Lord to strengthen her inner man and to heal her from her unbelief. If you can pray for Sister Amber with me that would be greatly appreciated!

      • She is on my prayer list.

Perhaps her problem is what she wants instead of what Jehovah wants. Having taught in China for ten years I know many are eager for Christ but there are few teachers (especially Chinese women). She has been blessed with good guanxi (she should know what that means) in your country so she has those to help her. Now it is time to pay it forward for her to help her country men and women.

I shall pray for the Lords will be done either way. After all, it is up to Him for the final word.
