A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Did They Not Have Every Right To

trust in God

Jesus said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith and confidence [in Me]?” Mark 4:40 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

The boat was sinking during a terrible storm. The disciples, who were experienced fishermen believed they were going to die. Did they not have every right to be concerned?

No, they did not.

When Jesus asked the disciples do you still, this implies that they had plenty of experience with Jesus during disasters.

Have they not learned their lessons yet?

Before you are harsh on them, reflect back on your own life. When you were a baby Christian with little experience, you were expected to have little faith and trust, however, as you mature in your walk with Christ your faith is expected to become stronger.

For me, whenever disaster comes my way the initial reaction is panic. It is quickly followed by crying out unto Jehovah. Then their is reflection upon His past deliverance and a thankful prayer saying with confidence I know it is in Your hands Father and I know You will help me. Thank You.

Then their is calm reassurance during the wicked storms.

We are expected to call out unto Jehovah but we are also expected to have trust in His deliverance. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for always being present in my life.

Please expand my trust in You in every trial and tribulation You are right there walking through them with me.

Please remind me of Your past deliverance to reassure me of Your present one.

I praise You and sincerely request this in the name of He who always walked and continuously walks with You now my glorious best friend Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. Even though as a Christian I know this, it is still wonderful to get these beautiful reminders, especially when you’re not feeling well….. like I am today.

    • May be it is the weather.

It is cold, rainy and dreary here. That usually makes one feel down in the dumps and tired.

That is when I just curl up with the good book and feel the warmth of our Beloved Fathers love envelope me like a warm blanket on a cold night.

I will pray for your recovery.

      • Thanks so much…. I do wish it was only the weather, and not that I’ll have to make an unwanted trip to the dentist.😢

      • Oooh.

Well do not worry, with all the advances in medicine today it is not painful and it is quick.

      • Thanks…I’m hoping for very, very quick. 😀😀

      • It is the duty (which is an act of love) for a Christian to pray for other saints in Jehovahs holy family.

      • It’s so awesome to know that you have other Christians praying for you. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

      • And even more awesome knowing who is listening and answering those prayer.

      • So have you had your trip to the dentist yet?

Was he an angel in disguise? lol.

All the dentists I know are very professional and friendly. They and their staff make a trip there like a trip to a friendly family get together.

      • 😀😀 Not yet. I go often for cleanings but not to get a tooth pulled, like I will be this time. I think what I hate most is the noise from the machines. I’m using this time to lean firmly against Jehovah, so I may be strengthened by Him. A few more days and hopefully it should be all over. Again, I thank you for your prayers.

      • It is an honour to pray for you.

Having a tooth pulled is no problem today. Just make sure you have someone drive you home afterwards because of the anesthesia .

      • I think mine will just be regular freezing, but I have a friend going with me anyway.

      • That is best.

I am still praying for you every morning sister.

      • I am always praying for others, and it’s nice to know when I’m being prayed for. Right now we are looking at lessons about unity, and it talks about unity in the early church in the bible…..about how Christians unhelpful each other and supported each other in Christ. I will also pray for you as a fellow Christian who loves the Lord whole heartedly. I can see that from your blogs.

      • Today is day two of my stop smoking, will you please pray that it is successful this time?

Yes, we Christians are to be helpful and supportive of each other. As we are swimming against the current (we go with the flow of Jehovah not of the world) we need all the union with each other we can get.

I prefer small Bible groups over going to church because of being an introvert. As well there is a lot more support there and open discussion.

I have not been in one since leaving China because most are powder puff and refuse to take a stand on Jehovahs word (the Bible). They are more interested in getting folks to attend than they are dealing with hard issues. They tend to accommodate the world instead of being a beacon to those lost in its darkness.

      • I will certainly pray that you will be able to quit smoking for good. God is so good, whenever we fail He is waiting right there to pick us up again.

While I do go to church, I do agree with you that there is a lot going on in the churches today that God is very displeased with, but this is where we will stay strong because God does say that the wheat and tares will grow together until the harvest time, so until that time I will persevere and keep striving.

Stay strong and take the smoking second, by second, minute by minute and I pray that God will take it from you just like He took my cravens for sweets away from me.

      • Thank you for your prayers. The prayers of a Christian are powerful and effective.

I agree with your statement about going to church but the type of treatment received there really turned me off of churches.

I used to love it in China when talking with brothers and sisters about what Jehovah had revealed to us during the week and what He had done through us and for us during the week before the service. After the service we talked about what the sermon meant and sometimes debated about it. We felt alive. It was fabulous.

Try talking like that in a church today and see the reception you get. From my experience you will be standing alone with others looking at you like you are a freak.

      • I hear you and understand you. I left the church when I was a lot younger because of people, but I remember my mom who is now gone saying to me, “its about God, not the people.” I returned many years later and not much seemed to have changed, but now I put my focus on Him (God) and give all the things I don’t like about the church to Him. I know….it can be very challenging. Perseverance, perseverance.

      • Very well said.

To fellowship one must be with those like minded (in my case Christ centered not world centered). Although we are not a carbon copy of each other, thank goodness, we all have the same foundation. In these groups much is accomplished in prayer, in building each other up and in learning from each other.

      • Well, good for you, seems like you’re off to a good start, and really it should start here on earth.

I look forward to that day when we will all serve and glorify God in the way that we should. We will all be one family, knowing how to love only. All tears will be gone and joy and laughter only will remain. What a day that will be. No more separation, no more divisions, no more hate, sadness or negativity, only walking as one with Christ in His heavenly kingdom.

      • Thank you.
There are no words to describe what it will be like in our Heavenly home because of the immeasurable love, joy and peace there will be there like we have never experienced before.

      • Well I’ve had the offender plucked from my mouth…… just dealing with the after care……thanks for all your prayers.

      • You are welcome.

I am very glad to hear that.

Is your friend going to stay with you for a day?
