But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Galatians 5:22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

It shows in our daily lives whether or not we are Christians.

I go by the motto: Do not tell me, show me.”

How unselfish are you with your tithes( yes we are still to give a tenth) and for that matter how much more do you give? Now if you are financially challenged you can give of your time which is perhaps more valuable than your money.

Do you have the joy of Christ in your lives (happiness is physical but joy is spiritual) or are you a Debbie Downer, always complaining?

How much peace do you have when dealing with challenging situations (now we all have our breaking points but that is to be the exception to the rule)?

How kind are you to others, like shoveling the snow for a senior or cutting their lawn in the summer?

Are you faithful in your daily life unto Christ or is it just for an hour on Sunday?

These are but a few important questions that we need to honestly ask ourselves.

If there is any area lacking there is only one answer: pray man, pray, that Jehovah reveals to you any and every area in which you are weak in and to guide you to the proper course of action to take, including asking Him for the strength to shore up these weaknesses.

This should be done on a daily basis because the weaknesses can and do sneak in subtly without or knowledge.

“Christianity is not a theory or speculation, but a life; not a philosophy of life, but a living presence.” Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Prayer: Oh my Beloved Jehovah Abba (God our Father) may You please bless me with Your Holy attributes every day so that I may bless others to be a light that shines in a dark world and bring the lost into Your most amazing family. I humbly request this in the name of my big brother Jesus Christ. AMEN

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. Thank you for following my blog. Christianity is not segregated due to whom I am with, or where I am presently. Christianity is a whole lifestyle, one where the divine nature of Christ has become intertwined in the tattered frame of my humanity.

Thankful for His continual grace in calling me to Himself, daily, intimately telling me, I am His beloved daughter.

    • You are welcome.

What a coincidence. I just commented that Christianity is a lifestyle not a religion.

May you be blessed with continual growth in your maturity of being a precious child of Jehovah.

  2. Thank you Joseph for sharing what I call covenant living and giving, beyond a mere Christianity.
    Blessings!

  3. I really enjoy the rich imagery of God’s Word. I can tell an apple tree by the fruit growing from it. I hope that people can see the Spirit’s fruit in my life. I love the fact that it is described as fruit–something that people can enjoy, and something that is meant to regenerate more fruit. So beautiful how God’s Spirit brings out the ability to produce more fruit of the Spirit for a hurting world.
