So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]. 2 Corinthians 12:10 Holy Bible Amplified Version
The world says: depend upon self, just try hard enough and you will succeed. That is a foolish fantasy. Sometimes you will succeed in the task but lose out on the reward of doing it in harmony with Jehovah. The other problem is you are doing what you want and not what Jehovah has made you to do. The fruition of this is unfulfillment in your endevour.
Christians, although we do not enjoy them, should be grateful for our weaknesses. Because, it is in our weaknesses that Christ is strong. The benefit of this is an ever closer relationship with Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Depend upon self, wait for the fall. Depend upon Christ, be assured of the victory. Joseph a son of Jehovah.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) for supporting me in Your strong yet gentle arms when I am weak, when distress envelopes me, when I am wrongly persecuted and when sorrow and pain encompass my every being. I appreciate, love and adore You for these amazing attributes in the name of my strongest best friend Jesus Christ. Amen
May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah
As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah
I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years.
He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him.
The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved.
This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist.
This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members.
It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years.
I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah
Amen, Joseph! Glad to hear that all is well. How goes the harvesting?
Things are good on my end. My Dad is still in the hospital, but he is doing really well, on the whole! God is working miracles on his behalf right and left. God is good!
Very true, but I suspect that the Lord is working on him on the inside, too (the same is true with my mother). Sometimes, the unseen, inner lessons are more painful than the physical ones!
Oh yes. I am still in the dross-burning phase in a couple areas myself – I suspect that it is an ongoing process, as Lord continues to reveal areas for growth as needed, and then He helps us to heal those areas – even when the cure (which is absolutely necessary) can be painful.

I just saw this! It looks like the Holy Spirit had the two of us well aligned in our blog posts this weekend. 🙂
Always blessed by your messages, Joseph. Have a wonderful day!

Quite the coincidence isn’t it.
Thank you and I respect your posts as well.

I don’t believe in coincidences, but there clearly was a message that the Holy Spirit wanted me to receive and learn!
I hope you are well, Joseph!

I am glad you received a message from the Holy Spirit and learned from it. That is how we advance in our maturity in our Christian Character.
Things are going very well here.
How are things going with you?

Thanks, Joseph. He’s still in the hospital, but he is getting stronger each day. I am grateful!

That is good to hear.
At his age it takes longer to recuperate.
May Jehovahs healing blessings be upon him.

If we are Christians then we must go through a process of burning off of the dross. It is painful but we rejoice about it afterwards.

It is like Buckley’s medicine. It tastes terrible but works great.
