So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity.Galatians 6:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

One of the greatest regrets in life is the missed opportunities to help others. It was times when I intentionally turned my back on the opportunity. Afterwards the devil laid a guilt trip on me by trying to tell me Jehovah was ashamed of me. That is not true but He was disappointed.

True, He will present many other opportunities and regret is for the soul or souls I did not help. There is shame even though He forgives me.

The other regret is for the soul or souls I did not help. There is shame in the heart.

“If you lose an Opportunity you will be like one who lets the bird fly away; you will never get it back.” — John of the Cross

Do not dwell on your failure to do good when the opportunity arises but pray the Holy Spirit blesses you with being attentive to the opportunities and to bless you with the fortitude to obey Jehovahs nudging to do good. It is hard at first but once you make a habit out of it it becomes easier and your life is filled with a lot of joy.

Prayer: All glory to You my Beloved Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for Your favour of blessing me with bountiful opportunities to do good unto others so as to help them and to glorify Thy most Holy name. The added benefit is the expansion of spiritual wealth that multiplies with each act of goodness unto others. I exalt Thee in the name of He whose gift of His sacrifice blessed me with adoption into Your Holy family Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. I actually have a story about guilt and why it is important to not dwell on the past. On the drive to work a few years ago, I was feeling extremely guilty about a lot going on in my relationship with God, now the previous night I had prayed for guidance to help those in need. I wanted an opportunity, any opportunity to do something but here I was driving and focusing on my guilt.

I got to the light just before my job and I was staring straight ahead ashamed of myself. The light turns green, I start to drive, I look back in the rear-view mirror and there was a homeless man begging for money or food.

There was the opportunity I had been praying for. I missed it because I was to focused on myself and my past failures.
