When a People Forget God

For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold.2 Timothy 4:3 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

We do not live in a free society in the west anymore.

So many have turned their backs upon Jehovah and refuse to listen to Him. Indeed they are very offended by righteous morals. Yes there is absolute right and absolute wrong and it can only be found in the Bible.

We see law after law suppressing our rights to appease wicked men and women. In society today we see very little of good morals (it is all about me and it is not my fault is todays mantra).

We have a legal system but not a justice system.

There is no moderation it is buy, buy, buy. All the time going deeper into debt and becoming slaves to the big banks.

There is no frugality today. No one saves for the hard times and then cries for the government or mom or dads ATM to rescue them.

We see everybody screaming about how they have their rights but few talking about how they have their responsibility.

Be fare warned.

History does repeat itself.

Look at the past to see what is coming our way real soon.

Do not forget that the roaring twenties was preceded by the dirty thirties. Look at what has happened in every society when they became liberal and what happened to them (hint, it was not pretty nor pleasurable).

Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is impossible that a nation of infidels or idolaters should be a nation of freemen. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom. No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles” Patrick Henry

Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) bless me to be a voice into this sewer of filthy sin that premeats our society today to bring them into Your Holy government which is the Supreme government. I humbly request this in the name of He who is the Righteous King of all governments Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you A house full of sunshine, Hearts full of cheer, Love that grows deeper each day of the year.  Welsh blessing

I am an unpaid live in care giver for my aged mother. As well I regularly do volunteer work with a local church group helping working poor establish themselves independently. . I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Profound, profound!

    “No one saves for the hard times and then cries for the government or mom or dads ATM to rescue them… everybody screaming about how they have their rights but few talking about how they have their responsibility…”

    Well said!

    II Chron. 7:14

  2. Well expressed and straight to the point.

  3. I don’t know why Joseph but what you said, this came to my mind. “The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand. Isaiah 32:5-8

    • I do not know what Bible you got that from but the Amplified Bible, New King James Version and New International Version is completely different. No where does it mention anything about liberal. We need to be careful of which Bible we read because the wron one will completely distort the original meaning.

      • Joseph, I only read the King James. That’s where that came from. I am curious, if yours doesn’t say “liberal” what does it say?

      • The fool (the good-for-nothing) will no longer be called noble,
        Nor the rogue said to be generous.
        For the fool speaks nonsense,
        And his heart (mind) plans wickedness:
        To practice ungodliness and to speak error concerning the Lord,
        To keep the craving of the hungry unsatisfied
        And to deprive the thirsty of drink.
        As for the rogue, his weapons are evil;
        He conceives wicked plans
        To ruin the poor with lies,
        Even when the plea of the needy one is just and right.
        But the noble man conceives noble and magnificent things;
        And he stands by what is noble and magnificent. Isaiah 32:5-8 Amplified Bible
        The Amplified Bible explains it in much better detail.

      • Thank you Jospeh. They are certainly saying the same thing, if you compare them line by line.
        For the vile person will speak villany, (For the fool speaks nonsense,}
        “and his heart will work iniquity,” (And his heart (mind) plans wickedness: )
        “to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, (To practice ungodliness and to speak error concerning the Lord,)
        “to make empty the soul of the hungry,” (To keep the craving of the hungry unsatisfied)
        “and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.” (And to deprive the thirsty of drink.)
        “the instruments also of the churl are evil” (As for the rogue, his weapons are evil; )
        etc….
        The only real difference are the words vile, liberal, and churl have been changed.

      • You are welcome.

        I prefer the Amplified Version because it explains the verse in modern terms

  4. Keep up your good work. Thanks for your like of my post; You are very kind.
