I Know Two People

Kindness and truth will be to those who devise good. Proverbs 14:22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I know two people who just turned eighty a short while ago.

The one lived for herself all of her life and is now living alone in a big house with no friends. No one cared about her birthday. She has no one to help her and her life is very lonely and difficult. She always laughed at the goody two shoes, now she envies her.

The other was always and still is always active in helping in the community. There was what seemed like an endless line of folks every day coming to her house with home made gifts. If she ever needs any help there are countless volunteers lined up to gladly help her.

With age we reap ten fold the seeds we have sown in our younger years. Generously be loving and caring to others, you will need it when you get old and it is repaid unto you in abundance. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Heseh (God is love) bless me to be a blessing to all those around me so as to be a respectful emissary of You. I humbly request this in the name of He who gave His cherished life for me Jesus Christ Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. A great reminder to be of service to others. Jesus came to serve, not to be served. And we are to be like Him. Thanks for sharing.
