A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Why Does He do That?

WORSHIP GODS LOVE

I will drive them out before you little by little, until you have increased and are strong enough to take possession of the land. Exodus 23:30 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Have you ever thought of why Jehovah makes our walk into mature Christians so long and difficult?

Why does He do that?

One reason is because it takes time to digest into our spirit and lives the disposition and attitude of a Christian.

Think of marathon running. It is impossible for you to get up one morning and decide to run a ten mile marathon successfully when you have been a couch potato.

So too is it with the Christian walk.

It is impossible for you to walk like a mature Christian when you are a babe. It takes time. There is just too much to digest all in one spiritual meal.

The other reason is because if we did not experience trials and tribulations along the way we would not experience Jehovahs Divine providence in delivering us from them or walking through them with us to help us mature. If this were not true we would not depend upon Him nor appreciate Him.

What kind of Heavenly love affair would that be with our Heavenly Father?

Prayer:Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku ( The Lord Is With You) for blessing me that You are with me through all my trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares that inevitably mould me into the child You desire me to be. I praise You in the name of He who patiently taught His disciples and never left them Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
