And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. Romans 8:28 Holy Bible Amplified Version
At some time during our lives we all ask what is your purpose in life. Many go from one career to another , one relationship to another , one hobby to another searching for the meaning in their life. Each failure brings them deeper and deeper into depression , frustration and confusion. How many have committed suicide because they felt life had nothing to offer them.
Those of us who are Christ’s free servants do not experience this once we have surrendered our wills and life unto Him. He slowly pulls back the curtain to reveal His Divine plan for our lives. It may not be glamorous or famous but we experience , peace , contentment and joy because we know our purpose in life. Now as we progress in our walk He may move us from one purpose to another. The first purpose was teaching us and preparing us for the next step He has prepared for us.
For me He has moved me four times in thirty years. Reflecting back I laugh because during each one I was unaware that He was using it to prepare me for the next.
If you are one of the ones described in the first paragraph why not completely surrender your will and life unto an amazing Heavenly King and watch the amazing things He will accomplish in your life as well.
There is within every soul a thirst for happiness and meaning.” — Thomas Aquinas
