Man Forgets His Purpose

He made Christ who knew no sin to [ judicially ] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [ that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious loving kindness]. 2 Corinthians 5:21 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

There is only one supreme relationship we need to be fully concerned with.

It is not your family, your wife, your friends or your associates.

It is the relationship you have with Jehovah. When we are blessed with Holy Communion with him we need never ask why we are here. We know we are here to be blessed with the supreme love affair and that is with Jehovah. We need never ask what is the meaning of life because we know it is to be in an obedient, loving relationship with our Heavenly Father.

“Man, made in the image of God, has a purpose – to be in relationship to God, who is there. Man forgets his purpose and thus he forgets who he is and what life means.” — Francis Schaeffer

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah- M’Kaddesh ( The Lord is my Sanctifier ) for setting me apart from the world to be blessed with an awesome love affair with You. Thank you that because of this cherished gift I know the meaning of life and my purpose in it. I exalt You in the name of my precious King Jesus Christ who has given my life meaning and purpose. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
