And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 New Living Translation
Whether it is with a Christian or non Christian, when you are being pompously judgmental with others what opinion will others have of Christ when you claim to be a Christian?
Is Satan laughing while your words pierce the hearts of others?
Could this attitude drive people away from Christ rather than too Him?
Are you being a sword of Satan and driving through the receptive hearts of others?
When I was a teacher I would encourage students to come to church with me. Every Sunday it was the same filth of Satans followers pretending to be Christians with their arrogant self righteous behavior that would spew forth their poison (and most of them were elders in the congregation) . When my students saw this they refused to ever go to church again. Many refused to even discuss Jesus. They would say: “Jesus is supposed to be love, teacher that was anything but love.”
Whether you want to accept it or not, your words and deeds reflect Jesus when you claim to be one of His servants.
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. Galatians 5:26 New Living Translation
Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) guide my words to be encouraging and healing so that they will bring praise and glory to Your loving name. In the name of the greatest orator Jesus Christ I humbly ask. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah
I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years.
He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him.
The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved.
This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist.
This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members.
It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years.
I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah
The body of Christ which is the church come in different forms, and the sad fact is there is no perfect body that goes to the building of worship, and really the church is only as strong or as good as its weakest link. The worst thing that happens I believe is ‘divisions in church’ which the bible tells us ultimately brings the church down or destroys the body of Christ. Then it’s ‘every man/ woman) for themselves.
Unfortunately from my experiences there are too many wolves and not enough Christians in the church. Allister Begg once said there are four types of folks that go to church: one is the ones that constantly finger point and are judgemental ( they are the majority ) two are the groupies they are the ones that go to church to socialize three are the ones that do not know why they are there and the fourth one is the minority, we are the Christians. I have experienced it too often which is why I do not attend church.
Yes, I agree with you there sir. Just searching the scriptures,
Col 1:18…And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence…(KJV)
I believe if the church gave their full heart to Jesus there would be a unity amongst them when they worship together, instead of the ‘pecking orders’ that develop, which turn the majority into them ‘wolves’.
Fortunately mom has begun going to a church where there are a lot of members that she knows but it is for that reason ( the wolves )that I prefer to help at a seniors home for their services. Yes there is a pecking order there as well but I manage to avoid it.
A Christian does not think about such things but rather prays and trusts Jehovah for the answer. When He answers we are obedient.
In the case of my students I would usually come to their defense but if a wolf was attacking a Christian then most times the Christian ( by Gods grace ) was very capable of defanging the wolves.
What I am getting at is this. First the new Christian wouldn’t have the necessary tools to de-fang any wolf. Also the new christian is easily swayed because they’re hungry for the truth and anything that is fed to them would seem like the truth. God has answered this question about not going to church in 2 ways. The first and primary way is when it talks about not forsaking the brethren, this term encompassing a multitude of different aspects. If you have sufficient knowledge of thr bible to direct persons paths the new born Christian is the place to start. Secondly, the assertion that you will avoid the wolves all together is uncharacteristic to Paul not to mention Jesus both of whom you can find accounts of them standing firm with in a church against the wolves. Many accounts of both inserting themselves into the places of sin and every time coming out victors in the end. Victory defined as leading others to Christ.
Furthermore the idea that you shouldn’t go to church because others won’t change is fundamentally against biblical teaching. You’re part of the body and instead of worrying whether the next part is going it’s job you should only worry about doing your job.
To completly forgo church because of the failures around you is in essence failing in your own distinct way.
Wherever two or more are gathered together is the church. I have enjoyed more loving communion talking about Christ in the library that in any church. Jehovah always provides for Christian companionship.
You are very presumptuous which is also judgemental. It is attitudes like this that has driven many away from the church, including myself.

Do you think that it is better to avoid the sin all together or insert your self in the middle of it and be a light against the darkness?
