For physical training is of some value, but godliness (spiritual training) is of value in everything and in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and for the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8 Amplified Bible
How many of us go to they gym or pool or jog every day to keep our bodies in shape?
A more important question is how many of us are faithful in our daily spiritual exercise?
Here is a good program you might like to try: Spiritual Push Ups: every morning, throughout the day and every evening before bed push your hands up to heaven in praise and thanks for all Jehovahs abundant blessings he has showered on you.
Running: Run to Jehovah during every crisis big or small. The stop take a some deep breathes to clear the mind. Then as he speaks to you open the Spiritual nutrition every Christian requires every day (the Holy Bible). Listen and obey what is being revealed to you.
Swim in the Pool: Take a few laps every morning and during breaks in the never ending pool of wisdom, comfort and strength,(your Holy Bible). Your warm up before jumping in is humbly requesting our Spiritual trainer (the Holy Spirit) guides you to where He wants to speak with you. Then open your Bible to where you feel His guiding you and take a few laps. Some times it is easy and smooth water (Him reassuring you of Divine love, comfort and peace), Some times it is rough waters (where he is convicting you of something that needs fixing in your life).
Doing this regime faithfully every day is guaranteed to build you into a spiritually strong Christian.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Tsori – Lord my Strength for blessing me with a daily spiritual strength training program that builds me up to be a strong warrior against the wicked ones army. I praise You in the name of the King of Your Heavenly army Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
