We need to be an Aaron and Hur.

 

 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning.  When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.  So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword. We need to help each other as did Aaron and Hur. How many new born Christians walk away from Christ because when they encounter trials or tribulations, sorrows or snares the so called mature Christians not only refuse to help them but stand there and shake their heads and tisk, tisk the babes. How many pastors have walked away because no one was there for them to talk about their problems with?

How can we claim we have the warmth of the love of Christ in our hearts when they are cold to others suffering? Joseph- Anthony: Green

If you turn your back on a brother or sister encountering trials or tribulations, sorrows or snares why do you believe Jehovah will not turn His back on you when the same thing occurs to you. We need to be like Moses and accept help.

To refuse to accept help is because of pride and pride has no place in a Christians heart or life. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Leaders are human too. You do not have all the answers; you cannot handle all the problems in your congregation or personal life alone. No one has that big of shoulders. That goes not just for leaders but for all of us.

One of the Most Harmful Habits.

 

 

 “There can be no doubt that possessive clinging to things is one of the most harmful habits in the Christian life. Because it is so natural, it is rarely recognized for the evil that it is. But its outworkings are tragic.” A. W. Tozer

At one time I worked a lot of overtime and invested my money according to the advice of financial planners (Be careful of them. They are not all good as I sadly found out). I lived a very frugal lifestyle just to save up for a comfortable early retirement. Alls I lived for was to stash money away to make that baby grow. Sadly events occurred that wiped me out not once but three times. I felt totally devastated and if the world had literally ended. Each time I wanted to give up but went right back to it again. During this time my Bible gathered dust and the only time I talked with my beloved was when I wanted something from Him. Our relationship was on life support. When things crashed I went to Him but when the new nest egg stared growing I deserted Him for the nest egg. What a pitiful life it was. It was one of the most harmful habits that could exist in anyones life.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Matthew 6:33 Holy Bible, New King James Version

Finally, when I had nothing left I surrendered unto the Holy Spirit. Through decades (talk about a slow learned huh) He taught me to be submissive and obedient unto Jehovah’s calling in my life. Yes it has been hard but that was a blessing because it has brought us ever closer together. The harder the times the closer it brings me to Jehovah. Joseph- Anthony: Green I have a deep respect, love and admiration for my Beloved Father, King and Holy Teacher. This is the greatest treasure of all. Through it all He has always provided fro my needs (not wants which is fleshly).

That is the Greatest Reward.

 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 Holy Bible, New International Version

Who are you trying to please: Jehovah or man?

Speaking from personal experience it drove me nuts when I was a teenager. It seemed as if every family member had thier own plans for my life. It was impossible to please everybody.

When I began my walk with Christ there was zero support from the family. Indeed many of them laughed and told me how I was going to fall flat on my face.

Do you notice the I would not be a servant of Christ part of this these paragraphs?

Yes, Jesus is our Savior but He is also our King. If He is our King them we are His servants. Most of the things Christ has asked me to do (neither Jehovah, Jesus nor the Holy Spirit demand anything of us. They are respectful and always ask.

Do you not believe that is a good idea for us to follow, do not demand but rather ask.

Now if we refuse there are serious consequences that we bring on ourselves.So, just as you ask a child to clean their room and the consequences will be an allowance and if they refuse there will be no allowance so too if Christ asks us to do something there will be a reward but if we refuse we miss out on a blessing) was impossible for me to do on my own.Having the Holy Spirit help me by teaching to pray, have faith and take action blessed me with a bond that grew stronger over time with the Trinity that was and is filled with love, respect and adoration.

The Father Seeks.

 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23 Holy Bible, New International Version

Do you wonder why Jehovah comes to one man or woman while rejecting another?

Could it be because the Father seeks those who worship Him in spirit and not of the flesh?

In the spirit means we desire an obedient loving relationship with Him.

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 Holy Bible, New International Version

In the flesh means we give Him lip service. That means we donate our finances and or time with ulterior motives. The motives are to please Him so we do not suffer His anger. It is done as a bargaining chip to gain an entrance into Heaven or to receive material blessings here on earth. Having been on both sides of the coin I can say with complete confidence that the spiritual relationship far exceeds the material one.

Counsel and Understanding are His.

 “To God belong wisdom and power;  counsel and understanding are his. Job 12:13 Holy Bible, New International Version

Where do you go for counseling?

Some go to psychiatrists but they receive their flawed understanding from man. How many of them deal with your problems by pushing drugs on you?

I prefer to go to Jesus. The wonderful thing about Jesus is not only His infinite wisdom and power but because He suffered as we have He has been there and done it He understands everything we endure. Perhaps that is why He is called a wonderful councillor. Now He may guide you to qualified Christian counsellors or through His word and power along with His wisdom He may assist you on His own. I was blessed that He provided me with both.

Some go to these questionable counsellors you see on TV. But can they provide you with the wisdom and power that Christ can or do they go for TV ratings and your pocket book?

Some go to self help books but again, can they and do they give you individual counselling? Do they know you intimately like Jesus does? Do they love you like Jesus does? Can they bless you with power like Christ does?

Whenever I have a problem I always go to Jesus and He has a hundred per cent successes rate with me.

How about you, where do you go for the best counselling?

You will Receive

From the Lord. Since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:24 Holy Bible, New International Version

My family squabbles over who will get what in the inheritance. It is quite disgusting and disgraceful to watch their filthy greed drive them to stupid fights.

Although I used to worry about them cheating me out of my share the Lord, through Bible verses, has assured me that no matter what their wicked schemes He will always take care of me as long as I walk in harmony with Him. Even if they do rip me off that is okay because earthly treasures fade away like the morning mist but our Heavenly treasures last an eternity and there is nothing on earth to compare with it. If you have greedy family members who are either trying to rip you off or have ripped you off, stay focused on your Heavenly inheritance. No once can or will cheat you out of that. I also know some who have threatened to disinherit their children if they do not obey the parents, even when their obedience is against the Lords wishes. I say once again, stay focused on your Heavenly inheritance, no one can disinherit that from you.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God is our Provider) for blessing me with Your reassurance that no matter what the wicked ones schemes are in this world You have graciously promised to always take care of me and provide for me. I know that You are always true to Your vows and take comfort and security in this. I joyously praise You in the name of this humble servants Kings name Jesus Christ. Amen.

Open His Eyes

And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” 2 Kings 6:17 Holy Bible, New International Version

What do you believe is the best method of bringing others into Jehovahs family?

Do you think it is with self help groups, do you think it is with Bible study groups, do you think it is by bringing them to church or a Christian concert?

From personal experience I have found that praying that the Holy Spirit blesses them by opening their eyes to the truth about the trinity and accepting them into their lives is the most effective way.

Yes we need to share the Gospel but before we do that we need to pray for the Holy Spirit to open their eyes to the Truth. The same can be said in every other aspect of life.

We need to pray for the Holy Spirit to open our loved ones eyes to the career Jehovah desires for them to follow, the right spouse (if any. Yes Jehovah has planned for some of us to remain unmarried so please stop hassling us about it), how to resolve a dispute, how to be a good Christian parent and any and all other aspect of of daily living. And of course, once their eyes have been opened we must pray they have the resolve to be obedient children of Jehovah had follow His advice.

What is Time

Have you ever had to wait for a prospective employer or school to call you to inform you if you were accepted or not? I have. Days seem like years and the anxiety causes the blood pressure to reach a point you think you are going to explode. Now, I have learned (the hard way through many decades) to have faith in Jehovah that He will answer in His way and in Him time.

Have you ever messed up at work or school and are waiting to see the head master or boss? I have and a thousand scenarios flash through my head and none of them are good. Now, I have learned (the hard way through many decades) to have faith in Jehovah that He will answer in His way and in Him time.

Have you ever spent time when you were in the presence of our Beloved Father or King? I have. It seemed as if the three hours were an eternity yet a few seconds. My heart wanted to explode saying:” I love you, I love you.” It brought life to my spirit like nothing else can even begin to compare.

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you they are full of the Spirit and life. John 6:63 Holy Bible, New International Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) for blessing me with teaching to have faith and to learn patience in waiting to hear Your wise voice blessing me with guidance, strength and assurance in all aspects of my life. The Best Fortune Teller

 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritualists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God?

Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Isaiah 8:19 Holy Bible, New International Version

Who is the best fortune teller.

Those who rely upon satan (the father of lies) or Jehovah (the Father of all truth).

I believe Jehovah is the best fortune teller.

Who controls yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Look at the horoscopes and see how many of them are correct?

Jehovahs prophesies have been 100% correct for thousands of years.

Why would you go with an amateur that cannot even predict todays events when there is one with a hundred percent correct success rate available 24- 7?

Fortune tellers spew lies for money while Jehovah reveals the truth because He loves you.

Then why does He not answer your inquiries?

Because He wants you to trust Him and in so doing you will be blessed with an expanding love, respect, trust and obedience unto Him.

This will be a life time experience. It is not going to be easy. I know, I have over thirty years walking with my Beloved and there are still challenging times and know there will be until reaching my Heavenly home.

They are Hard but Necessary

They are three of the hardest words for us to say :”I am sorry.”

How many marriages and friendships have been destroyed because the offender refused to apologize?

You know why they refuse to apologize?

PRIDE!

When on the other hand you apologize, many times, you end up feeling better than the person who was offended.

They are hard but necessary steps you must take.

If on the other hand you are proud and arrogant and refuse to apologize what right do you have to expect God to forgive you or to give you any blessings?

If you refuse to forgive others why do you expect Jehovah to forgive you? Joseph- Anthony: Green
