A closer walk with our beloved friend.

They No Longer Teach the Truth.

He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men. Mark 7:6-8 New King James Version Holy Bible

From my personal experience I believe this is too prevalent in todays churches. They teach the doctrine of man which is mainly teaching the folks what they want to hear not what they need to hear. As well it is contrary to Biblical teaching. They no longer teach the truth.

The Bible is the word of God, anything that is contrary to that is satanic. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Sorry you misguided souls but homosexuality is still filthy in Jehovahs eyes no matter what lies you teach.

Sorry folks but Jehovah is not there just to serve your every whim like ungrateful brats.

Sorry folks but you cannot just go out and live your life how ever you want and still be accepted by Jehovah. Just as Jehovah is spirit so too is worshipping Him in spirit (with your heart not your mouth) the only worship that is acceptable unto Him.

Sorry folks but there is a eternal damnation in hell so you cannot go out and live your life contrary to Biblical teachings and expect to get a free pass into Heaven because “Jesus loves you.”

I believe this is why so many churches are dead and dying a slow death, because their false doctrine is no different from the worlds. I have been in worldly churches that were almost empty and in churches that taught Biblical doctrine that were full and alive.

Prayer:Please Jehovah-‘Ori (the Lord is my Light)bless both individual Christians and churches today to teach and live by sound Biblical doctrine that will be the light that shines in a dark cold world so that others will be blessed with and amazing loving relationship with You. I humbly request this in the name of He who is the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Cleavet: I recently read an article that churches that teach Biblical doctrine numbers are increasing while the politically correct churches enrollment is declining.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. Dear Joseph,

Thank you for your post on churches. As you may know, I am a new believer and barely started reading The Bible. I am trying to find a church to call my home, but since I have not finished reading The Bible, I was wondering if you can give me some tips on choosing the right pastor and church.

What qualities do I look for in a pastor? I just recently started going to a church for one month and during one of the pastor’s sermon, he had mentioned that he didn’t believe that we are supposed to suffer now and reap the rewards in Heaven. He said that he believes we are meant to have an abundant life here and now. What are your thoughts on this? I thought The Bible warned us against false teachers and those who teach about prosperity? I thought it said to be aware of the love of money and materialism? Any insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Your sister in Jesus

    • In the East when you mention you are a Christian the first question they ask is: “How much have you suffered for Christ?” The implication is when you suffer because you are a follower of Christ.

No offence but your pastor sounds like what they call a marshmallow in the East. When the heat comes on for being a Christian they melt like a marshmallow.

From my personal experience the closer we get to Christ the more we are going to suffer. The more we suffer the closer we get to Christ. It probably sounds scary but it is an incredible experience and you grow leaps and bounds in strength, wisdom and security.

As far as reading the Bible is concerned we will never learn it all which is great. May I suggest you get a Bible reference guide ( and start reading the Amplified Bible on with the Book of Psalms, then go into the Book of Proverbs. From there read the Beatitudes in Matthew chapters five, six and seven. May I suggest a quiet safe place in nature as that is Gods Cathedral. Before you begin ask Jehovah to speak with you while reading. You will experience a closeness to Him there. Write down verses that jump out at you as that is Jehovah speaking with you. Stop and talk with Him about them. You can download excellent free booklets at (click topics) It helped me out tremendously.

Look for a church that teaches from the Bible.

I pray this has helped you as it helped me.

      • Dear Joseph,

Thank you so much for your thorough explanation! I will continue looking for another church and follow your instructions on reading The Bible. (I have been reading from the New Living Translation Study Bible and One Year Bible Online.)

I will try to avoid marshmallow pastors from now on!

        Your sister in Jesus,

      • You are welcome Mary.

It is difficult to find a Christian church today.

I prefer the Amplified Version because it explains what the verses mean.

        Your brother in Christ
