A closer walk with our beloved friend.

The Father Seeks.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23 Holy Bible, New International Version

Do you wonder why Jehovah comes to one man or woman while rejecting another?

Could it be because the Father seeks those who worship Him in spirit and not of the flesh?

In the spirit means we desire an obedient loving relationship with Him.

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 Holy Bible, New International Version

In the flesh means we give Him lip service. That means we donate our finances and or time with ulterior motives. The motives are to please Him so we do not suffer His anger. It is done as a bargaining chip to gain an entrance into Heaven or to receive material blessings here on earth. Having been on both sides of the coin I can say with complete confidence that the spiritual relationship far exceeds the material one.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand (God is my friend) for blessing me with being the most amazing loving friend the could ever be. I extol Thee in the name of my other best friend Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Very well said! Sometimes, I think it is only after experiencing God’s (rather severe), Fatherly discipline that we may realize how much we really do want and need to have a relationship with Him.
