So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived. Genesis 19:29 New International Version
You do not think your prayers are important?
It was because of Abram that Lot and his family were led to safety before the destruction.
Is there anyone you are praying for, a believer or unbeliever, and you are wondering if it does any good?
Remember this verse.
I have experienced the power of prayer personally. There was a lady who explained that even though she read the Bible she did not feel God speaking with her. After one week of praying, God spoke to her three different times in three different ways.
Now sometimes it may take years and sometimes it may not happen because of the person whom you are praying for has a hard heart. I can think of a few circumstances like that as well but that does not absolve You of your Christian duty.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God the creator) create in me a consistent habit of praying for others even when it seems as if there is no change in the circumstances. I sincerely request this in the name of He who always began and ended His day in prayer for both Himself and for others Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
