Be Careful of the Fall

“If you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 1 Corinthians 10:12 New International Version.

When I first became a Christian I naively believed I could take on Satan and win. I was standing on the firm ground of my conviction to Christ. Satan laughed. “Come on”, he said “have a beer.” Being an alcoholic I foolishly mistakenly believed I could take him on and win. I woke up in the morning surrounded by empty beer bottles.

Satan came a calling. “Look at you, calling yourself a Christian yet you got drunk last night. Christ is ashamed of you. How can you call yourself a Christian?”

Deep shame enveloped me as my heart cried out in deep painful shame my sorrow.

The Holy Spirit came and calmed me down assuring me that repentance brings forgiveness.

It was a lesson never forgot.

Do not ever be cock sure of yourself and say I would never do this or I am going to do that.

THE LORD WILL ANSWER

The wise man or woman instead says by Gods grace I will do this or not do that. And then, depend upon God, not self.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) create in me a humble heart that is not overconfident so as to be susceptible to Satan’s pray. I meekly request this in the true rock solid foundation Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ precious love bless you today and every day.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. Thank you, as always, for your honesty… Sharing your trials and tribulations will help others who are going through the same thing. Right now my family is trying to go into a new chapter, and I know that what Jesus did for you, He wants to do for us, too.

    • You and your family are in my morning prayers every morning. The hard times draw us closer to Jesus. Please read Psalm 40:17 Psalm 37:7 Psalm 37:23,24.

Actually I have just finished going through a tough trial and tribulation. Through prayer and reading the Psalms Jehovah directed me to He has healed me of my anger and worry. Then He removed the curse of nicotine addiction which has plagued me for fifty years.

I pray for you with all my heart every morning

      • Thank you so much. Life has been a bit more swayed by the Enemy than by Our Father lately, and I really appreciate the love and mercy.

      • It may sound like a cliche but from my vast experience it is true:The harder the times the closer we get to Jesus. Joseph- Anthony: Green

I pray for you and your family every morning.

Jehovah bless you with strength, encouragement, peace and love each and every moment of your life.
