Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?   Psalm 139:7 New International Version

How many less alcoholics and drug addicts would there be if they stopped running from The Holy Spirit?

They have done something wrong and think they have gotten away with it.

No, that is not your conscience that bothers you, that is The Holy Spirit. He will constantly nag at your conscience.
You try to hide it with alcohol, drugs, TV to no avail. You give God the finger and tell Him to bug off and leave you alone.

You cannot get to sleep so you take pills. When you do get to sleep your sleep is haunted with terrible nightmares.

He knows the day of darkness is at hand. Distress and anguish fill him with terror;troubles overwhelm him, like a king poised to attack, because he shakes his fist at God and vaunts himself against the Almighty Job 15:23-25 New International Version

Remember the old saying: “You can run, but you can’t hide.”

It is better to repent and life with a clean conscience than to deny it and be dragged down to a living hell. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Jehovah KalEl (Jehovah, the voice of God) please always open my heart and mind to take righteous action when I sin. I humble ask this in the name of He who forgives when we repent Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. I love this verse. For Christians, the presence of God’s spirit is comforting. Even His discipline of us should be a source of comfort because it demonstrates His love.
“FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.” It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?”
    ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭12:6-7‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

  2. Great post here. God bless you 😄
