Let us make a name for ourselves. Genesis 11:4 New King James Version

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 King James Version

Whose name are you working for?

Are you working for your own glory and name or are you working to bring glory to Jehovah?

Are you a glory hog?

Do you want all the glory for yourself to feed the egomaniac within you? If so, do you foolishly believe that, that unquenchable thirst will ever be satisfied?

And why do you have that thirst?

Could it be insecurity?

When you have a loving relationship with Jehovah you will be guided to where and how He can and will best use your skills.

During the process and when it is completed there is always a feeling of His presence when it involves me. There is also peace of mind that I am not completing against anyone including myself (to do the best) because I know the Holy Spirit is working with me.

When you work for your own glory it will fade into nothing upon your death. When you work for Jehovah’s glory it will last for an eternity in Heaven. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for blessing this humble servant with a divine task that You have made just for me to give glory and honour to Your amazing loving name. I exalt You in the name of He who completed the greatest task of all on a bloodied cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
