A closer walk with our beloved friend.

When We Are Christians We Are.

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,  and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? James 2:14-16 New King James Version

When we are Christians we are all members of the same family.

Part of being a member of a family means we are concerned for each other.

That means we are to not only pray for a brother or sister when they are experiencing some difficulty but we are take action when we can.

So if you see a brother or sister in financial difficulty we are to offer financial counseling if it means they do not know how to make and keep a budget.

If we see a brother or sister having difficulty with a subject at school we are to offer them free tutoring.

If we see a young couple experiencing marriage or parenting difficulties and we are older we are to offer then words of advice from our experience.

Christians are not to be spectators, we are called to action. Joseph-Antony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious)  enhance my spirit to be attuned to the needs of others, to be given the skills and resources necessary to accomplish the task so that their lives will be blessed with relief and support and that glory will be heaped upon You. I meekly request this in the name of He who abundantly gave to those who were hurt, lost, lonely, afraid and sick Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
