For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power. 2 Timothy 1:7 New King James Version
Remember when you first became a Christian?
For me I was a nuisance. I could not nor would not shut up about Jesus. I wanted to convert the whole world. Those who knew me were shocked because previously I was a shy quiet man. As I grew in Christ I became more discreet but still bold.
A Christian is bold in their faith but not arrogant in their walk. Joseph- Anthony: Green
When we become Christians the Holy Spirit lives in us and empowers us to speak boldly.
I remember standing up to those who thought they were more educated or powerful than me. Of course being a babe they could catch me with asking questions I was unable to answer. As we grow in knowledge we can answer those questions.
“Preaching should break a hard heart and heal a broken one.” John Newton
As well we must learn to live with grace, meekness and humbleness as well. We are not to be arrogant and shove Jesus down unbeliever’s throats.
Trying to force Jesus Christ on unbelievers does not bring them to Christ but chases them away from Him. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for blessing me with the wisdom, power, gracefulness, humbleness and meekness to boldly share Your life giving word to a world starving for spiritual richness in their pitiful lives. Please bless me to imitate the greatest giver of spiritual life Your amazing son in whose name I humbly thank You Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
