A closer walk with our beloved friend.

The Better You Become.

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 New King James Version

A man drops out of school, gets married and raises a son. The man teaches the son how to tie his shoes. The man did not attend university to learn how to be a parent, he passes on what every good father teaches his children.

So too it is with a Christian.

You need not attend seminary to become a preacher because preacher means teacher. You just use the lessons you have learned from your Christian mentors.

Mind you, this is a life time experience.

The more you practice it the better you become.

The more you learn from other mentors the better you become.

The more you learn from your own successes and failures the better you become.

So, what are you waiting for go out and begin teaching right now right? Wrong.

Going my own way leads to disaster, going Jehovahs way leads to Heavenly success.  Joseph- Anthony: Green

The first step is to pray and wait.

When the time is right Jehovah shall begin your teaching career. He shall provide you with the proper mentors and the proper place, time and soul to begin your lifelong preaching career.

Prayer: Please Jehovah     bless me to always have the wisdom to always follow Your divine guidance in my life even when I do not understand where or why You are leading down the pathway to Heaven. I humbly request this in the name of Your most obedient son Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. I agree with you in principle. There are a number of good “lay-preachers.” But the ministers who go to college for degrees get a deeper background in religious studies than we can get by our own means in many cases. The instructors are just mentors as well who can teach from a more enriched point of view.

I don’t say this as a hard and fast rule, but it is more generally true I believe. But we all must teach the word as Christians at whatever level we can so your point is well taken!

    • But the ministers who attend seminary more often teach church denomination Christianity and not true Christianity. That is one thing that drives people from churches.

      • That is true of some but not of all. It depends on whether or not their church is one of a denomination or not.

Our church is a simple bible church and our ministers deal in only how the bible messages connect together in historical and informational context.

      • That sounds like a good church but I have been brned too many times to have any desire to belong to any church

      • You know if you belong to Christ you are already in the church. We are His church, we go to a church building to worship Him and the Father and the Holy Spirit. It is what the church has done since the first century…

      • I agree but the early churches were all house churches or in public places as well in nature. Many times the early church had to meet in tombs because of persecution.

      • That is true, but the circumstances are not the same today. In America and many nations, we have the right to public worship with members of like faith who wish to support us. Plus we owe God our gifts of money to help support the church work, songs raised with love in a brotherly setting, communion to remember Christ’s death on the cross, etc. These are things which are in the NT examples of worship.

We can’t justify not doing them just because we may have had some bad experiences in a church setting before…

      • I agree but I wrote an article on another web site about too many wolves in sheeps clothing in churches. There was a huge amount of replies where people agreed because they were treated badly in church by church members and they swore they would never step foot in a church again. They tried numerous churches with the same experience in them all.I prefer a small group where we are there because we want fellowship not to be a member of a group or to be harassed by too many wolves.
