Satanic and demonic warfare is very real and very dangerous.
Demons are very intelligent and very tricky. Indeed, many times people believe they are talking with Jehovah’s angels when in fact, they are talking with demons.
They are stronger than us and can easily overpower us.
A good personal example of this is when I used to feel demons pushing me into a liquor store to buy beer and get drunk. It was as if invisible hands were literally pushing me in and buying the beer. Then while sobering up, they would viciously taunt me, laughing and saying: “Look at you, you filth. You believe you are a child of God. How can He who is holy love a filth drunk?”
The only way this was conquered was to cry out to Jesus to save me because they were too strong for me. When I did that they instantly left me and I have not had a drink in years. They had no choice; they HAD to leave me alone.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 New King James Version
Demons can exist in people so be careful with fortune tellers and astrologers. Demons can trick us by talking through psychics and astrologers.
Demons are individual and have memories. When they see a weakness in you like an addiction and you try to kick it, they will leave you alone and then come back with more demons.
When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.” Luke 11 24-26
Demons will do anything to separate you from Jesus and keep you separated from Him.
God has said,” Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:4
Prayer: Please Jehovah Sabaoth (God, the commander of armies) send Your mighty angels to defeat santans minions when they attack me. I know I can depend upon the Holy Spirit within me but sometimes it is necessary for You to send Your angelic armies like You did for the Israelites during the six day war. I sincerely ask this in the name of the mighty king who defeated the demons when he walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

The name of Jesus Christ is so powerful, that satan and the demons have to flee when we call out to Him or acknowledge Him.
Years ago, when a teenager, I was an atheist who was dabbling in witchcraft. I was influenced by Bewitched. I read books and tried a spell. Since I was interested in witchcraft the enemy made sure that I met people who were involved with witchcraft or who knew witches. A fellow classmate told me about a white witch who was willing to meet with me, because I wanted to see about becoming a white witch myself. I met the woman on a ditch bank a night. She told me that if I made that decision I couldn’t go back. She also said that white witches don’t serve Satan, which, of course we know isn’t true. I was told to think about it and come back with an answer. I did think about it. God sovereignly intervened. Now remember I wasn’t anywhere near being a believer in Jesus Christ. Harvey, the fellow student, met me at school that following day and asked me what I wanted to do. I said, “If Jesus Christ is real then He wouldn’t want me to do this.” At that point all desire for being involved in witchcraft ceased, and all of the opportunities to meet those who were involved in this evil behavior ended. That is the power of the name of Jesus Christ that the enemy flees when He is called upon, even if we don’t know Him.
It was years later that I met Him and became His beloved child. Praise His name! As His child He protects, leads and guides me. I worship and love Him! God bless us.

For me it was alcoholism. I tries many different ways to quit but it felt as if there was an invisible hand pushing me into the store and reaching for the bottle even though I was screaming on the inside “no, no, no!”. Then I would go on a binge even though as soon as I got a whiff of the bottle when it was opened I would puke. Finally in desperation I called out to Jesus and told Him this is too powerful for me. If you do not take this away I will die in a pile of drunken puke. I instantly sobered up and have not touched a drop in many years now.

Praise God for your amazing testimony of deliverance from sin and the influence of demonic hosts. Our God is so good and amazing. Reading your testimony and remembering my testimony has been such a godly encouragement to my heart. Jesus works in our lives by His amazing power for His glory and our good. God bless us.
