For a pretense make long prayers. Mark 12:40 New King James Version
Do you think because you say a lot of words or use big words you are impressing Jehovah?
Have you ever met anyone that likes to use big words to impress you?
They always look like idiots to me. I met many people in China that always wanted to use big words to impress but did not understand their meaning.
As well it is a irritant when in church or at a meeting or before a meal they just say a prayer but it is just lip service.
If you want to impress Jehovah speak from the heart not the mind. Otherwise, just shut up because you are just wasting your time, God is not listening.
Speak from the heart or do not speak to Jehovah. He is not interested in your words; He is interested in your heart. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Prayer: Please Jesus Pryyand (Jesus our friend) bestow upon me the wonderful privilege to enjoy walking with You, talking with You with a sincere heart, listening to You as an admiring friend and obey You as Your humble servant every moment of every day. In Your gracious name I beseech You. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah
I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years.
He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him.
The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved.
This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist.
This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members.
It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years.
I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Amen! Long words are great if you happen to be a literary intellectual and that’s how you normally think, but God is most “impressed” by our humility.
I learnt some precious lessons working with radical young Christians (their major ministry tended to be Goths and Satanists) they had a vocabulary all their own with which they praised and prayed, but it was sure from their heart!

The other thing I have learned is that the long winded ones are usually the ones that are the farthest from Jesus. They love to talk but when you watch them, they do not walk the walk.

You are right in this. God looks at the heart of us all…what’s in it, how sincere we are, etc. Big words mean very little. And they mean nothing to God if we have no conviction of His love in our hearts…

Many times this is true. I like those who use as few words of their own, and more of Jesus’ words. It called “expository teaching” because it allows the truth to be exposed through the words of the inspired word of God.
Have a great day, my friend!
