Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6 New International Version

Godliness does not mean we are perfect.

It means we are more concerned about the spiritual than the physical, that we follow Gods Law which states that we are to do to others as we want them to do to us and not do to others as we would not want them to do to us.

Contentment means we are grateful for the blessings Jehovah blesses us with and not want more, more, more and be envious of others.

Speaking from personal experience I can attest to the fact that it is great gain both physically, mentally and spiritually.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for all the wonderful blessings You abundantly provide for me every day and for teaching me to walk in the spiritual not the material world. I sincerely praise You in the name of He who taught us the most beautiful prayer Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
