A closer walk with our beloved friend.

The Divine Pardon.

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:7 New King James Version

There is no sin committed which the Lord will not forgive upon repentance.

Look at David, look at Peter, look at Paul. They were all recalls in their own right however upon repentance they were forgiven.

Now repentance means not only being sorry but to stop doing what is wrong and try to make right to those you have done wrong to.

Many times this will entail getting good Christian counseling and obeying what is said to do.

Many times this is beyond your capability which is when you need the help of the Holy Spirit and be obedient to His divine guidance.

Prayer: Search me oh Lord and if there is any deeds I have committed in word or action, convict me of them and bless me with them means of gaining true repentance. I humbly request this in the name of He who paid such a high price for this privilege Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. God has more grace than we have sin if we are sincerely repentant! But we must always work to mature in the faith so that we may sin less often as we go on in our walk with Him.

    • I agree which is why I disagree with those who say we are saved by grace and do not have to do anything. We have to do our part as well. We cannot sin and blatentedly believe Jehovah is going to forgive us without any effort on our part to stop

      • That is exactly God’s message to us! We can’t continue to abide with Him if we just keep on sinning. If we aren’t compelled to walk in the Light, we do not have this ongoing grace!

If our hearts are not in love with the Savior, we cannot enjoy the benefits of forgiveness…end of discussion.

        Great points to add here…

      • Thank you. I agree. In oreder to enter into a country you must abide by thier rules. It is the same with jesus except with Him it is a relationship He desires

      • With the Lord, he takes anyone who comes to Him…period! However, He may not leave us where He took us in. We understand that as our love grows for the word, our desire to please Him should also grow.

And as this happens, we enjoy a richer relationship with the Father and the Son…

      • Not only do I agree, that has been my experiance

      • It is true for everyone…think about it for a moment. When we seek the Lord, we are sinful souls looking for forgiveness.

That means at that moment we are still living in our sins. God can have nothing to do with sin, so He must lift us up and away from that state of being.

He transforms us through His love, and reconciles us through the blood of Jesus Christ. Then, we are made ready for our lives in service to Him.

We all have had our lives changed when we committed ourselves to God…

      • I find it amazig how much the Lord has molded this difficult piece of clay over the past thirty years and is still molding me. The product will not be finished even in Heaven. Enjoy as the Lord molds you into a beautiful child of His

      • And to that point, it is amazing when the clay flattens out on the potter’s wheel, God will take the time to smooth and shape it once again!

If we abide in the Light, we have forgiveness of all sins through the blood of the Lamb…

Who has the heart of God!

      • I pray every morning and apoligize for being such a had piece of clay sometimes. I am so grateful our Beloved is so paitent with us.

      • We are people of “second, third…or a hundred chances” when it comes to the Lord!

As long as our hearts are in it, the Lord will help us along. He IS patience, He IS love…

      • Boy do I know about His paitence and second chances. I am amazed at how patient He is with this sometimes difficult child.

      • All I can say is “you aren’t alone in that boat! I am right there with you!”

Guess I get the words “I try” mixed up with “I’m so trying” in my walk with the Lord…

      • I think we will always be trying until we reach our Heavenly home

      • I agree. As long as we are in the flesh, we will fall to sinful desires at times. And of course, that hurts the Lord’s heart.

But if we can sin less often as we grow in faith, He is happy to lift us up whenever we fall, and give us more grace to forgive sins!

In heaven we will finally be sin-free…

      • We will always fall on our walk to Heaven but when we repent our beloved King will gladly help us back up.

      • Another privilege of being one of God’s own!
