A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Apart From Me

I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. Isaiah 43:11 New King James Version

Jesus Christ is the way and the only way.

Sorry to that religion that believes in praying to statues of dead saints and worships popes but they will not and cannot save you.

Sorry to any that follow the religion that says that good works will save you because it will not and cannot.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Yehew (Jesus is the God of His people) for the awesome sacrifice You paid to bless me with being Your humble servant by being my most loved savior. I exalt You in Your amazing name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. This is “pure Christian” teaching! (1 John) tells us if we have the Son, we also have the Father. If we reject the Son, we have not the love of the Father either. We cannot love nor please God without faith in His testimony that Jesus is His Son and our Savior!

    • Now if only of the new age Christians would only understand that.

      • Christians do need to work towards more and deeper understanding of what faith is and then live it openly. Hey, the world tells everybody to “live as yourself, no matter what.”

We should not make any excuse for living as God wants us to…no matter what!

      • I like the quote from A League of Their Own :”It is supposed to be hard. If it was easy, anybody could do it.”

      • God disciplines those whom He loves, (Heb. 12:6). Why? Because He is making us ready to do battle against Satan and his “angels.”

The way in which we are best made ready for such warfare is to learn to stand against adversity by leaning on God and our maturing faith…

      • That is the perfect two step. Leaning on Jehovah and maturing in our faith and actions

      • And it can be said in the opposite way as well. We know we are maturing in our faith and actions if we are leaning more on the Lord!
