How Far Removed From Him Are You?

COMPLETE DEDITACATION

“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men Isaiah 29:13New King James Version

Do you just give lip service to Christ for an hour at church?

Do you sing those songs of praise with your mouth or does it come from your heart?

How much do you live the Christian life every day?

Do you prefer to listen to the feel good preachers instead of those who teach the Word? Then how far do you think you are from Christ?

He desires a loving obedient relationship with Him and nothing less.

To accomplish this takes commitment to daily reading Jehovahs loving guide book of life called the Bible.  As well it takes dedication to open sincere daily prayer. Not just the whine puppy prayer of gimme, gimme, gimme but one of gratitude and one where you just enjoy being with Him.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pyyrand (Jesus my friend) for blessing me with the most supreme love affair their could ever be. I praise You in Your beloved name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Excellent questions. Lip service is a waste of a person’s time. But more importantly, it is an insult to God! We have a Father who loves us beyond our understanding. He absolutely deserves our very life and for us to put Him at the center of all things.

Blessed be to our Savior, His Son Christ Jesus, who died so that we may have this relationship with God!

    • I agree, as Allister Begg said: ” We are either all the way in or we are all they way out.

Jehovah bless you with your loving relationship with Him

      • Even in His comments to the church at Laodicea in Rev. 3:15, Jesus inspired John to write that He wished that church was either “hot or cold.”…(all in or all out!)

As they were neither, the Lord “spit them out of His mouth” (v.16) as useless and unfavorable to Him! As we have said, don’t waste time as a “fence straddle.” It gains us nothing…
