A closer walk with our beloved friend.

How is the Spirit in You?

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 1 John 4:13  New King James Version

abide: to remain stable or fixed in a state, to continue in a place Merriam Webster Dictionary

The only way to remain stable in your relationship with Jehovah is by the power of the Holy Spirit. In order to continue with this relationship is to be obedient to the Holy Spirit. So when He says do this or do not do that it is order to keep our relationship fixed on Jesus. We must continue our walk with Him on a daily basis.

If you stray from the Holy Spirits guidance you set yourself up for control by the devil. Most times that does not occur all at once. It is a slow process that happens many times without the Christian even aware of it.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Shammah (the Lord is present) bless me to always be aware of your guidance and obedient to it so that I am blessed to stay in Your life giving place. I humbly request this in the name of He who always walked in harmony with You Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.

  1. Very well said! We have “an anointing” which comes by way of the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as delivered through the apostles. We must stay within the teachings of the gospel of Christ with the help of this anointing in order to abide in God through Christ Jesus.
