A closer walk with our beloved friend.

An abomination to the LORD.

Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished. Proverbs 16:5 New King James Version

Abomination: something that causes disgust or hatred  Merriam Webster dictionary

Have you ever seen these sports stars or movie stars or music stars behave as if they were god walking amongst us. They have a chip on their shoulder the size of a telephone pole.

Have you ever seen them later in life?

Most are broken, broke and on welfare. People would not cross the street to spit on them.

It is not just these “superstars” that have that chip.

Do you like to brag about your accomplishments as if you did something spectacular that only you can do?

That talent is a gift from Jehovah for you to use for good For you to take the credit for it is an abomination unto the giver of that gift.

Think of it like this: You teach someone to sing and play music They take the talent you have nurtured and the song you wrote for them and then they brag :Look how good I am.” That is what you do to God when you take credit for what He has given you.

Remember this:

What God gives freely, He can and will take back freely. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah   Chanan (God who is gracious) remind me daily of the precious gifts that You have so generously blessed me with to further Your kingdom. Help me keep a humble and grateful heart which to daily thank you and give You the credit. I humbly request this in the name of the most humble King Christ Jesus Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
