A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Why do You Say It?

“Do not say, ‘Why were the old days better than these?’ For it is not wise to ask such questions” Ecclesiastes 7:10 New King James Version

Pick an age, any age.

There were good times and there were and times.

Sure in the sixties there were the hippies and “free love”.

But there was also the Vietnam War, the cold war, the pollution and he list goes on.

The same goes for any age.

If you are always looking back, how can you move forward? Joseph- Anthony: Green.

In my lifetime yeah we had great times as kids. There were also some very bad times.

The same goes for in my twenties, thirties and forties.

It does not matter how old you are, when you are a Christian you are always moving forward toward our ultimate goal: Heaven.

So do not dwell on the past while sacrificing the present and the future.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Rohi (God is our Shepard) bless Your child to always keep his eyes focused on Your future home You have prepared for me. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who always remained focused Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
