A closer walk with our beloved friend.

They Bring Themselves Down

The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness. Proverbs 11:5, New International Version

When we live a righteous life it is one of obedience.

As such we follow the path Jehovah has laid out for us to travel to accomplish the work He has assigned for each of us to do. We need not bother with the question of why we are here or what are we accomplishing with our lives. Our Sheppard is our guide.

On the other hand those who live according to their own belief in what is right and what is wrong will be brought down hard.

Remember that fellow who taught that greed is good? Is he out of prison yet?

Remember that famous porno star from the seventies? Hasn’t he died from aids yet?

Oh you may be stupid enough to actually believe you are getting away with it but time is on Jehovahs side.

I have seen Him slowly (in order to provide them with an opportunity to repent) bring down those who strode around on a high horse. Their lives ended miserably.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Shammah (God is present) guide my every step to be in harmony with You as we walk the trail in this life You have chosen for me to travel on my journey to Heaven. I meekly ask this in the name of Your most obedient son Christ Jesus. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
