“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 New International Version Personally
I do not believe in saying brokenhearted.
To me a more accurate saying is pierced my heart because just as an lightening bolt pierces a tree and causes a branch to explode and be ripped from it so too does my heart feel when someone causes me heartache.
Have you ever felt like a literal knife had been pierced into your heart by someone’s careless or intentional cruel words or actions?
I have physically felt like that on occasion. It is deep, deep pain and agony.
When we cry out to our Beloved in Heaven in the agony He feels our pain and comes close to us and reassure us that He is always there and that He always care.
Jesus always loves me, Jesus always cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Just read your Bible and see what Jesus went through. So of course He understands because He has been there and through much worse.
Have you ever experienced agony so bad it literally sucks the life out of you? You feel like a crushed pop can. It can be with worry, stress, agony, loss of a loved one or any number of things like addictions.
When we surrender it all to Him He will provide the resources to heal the agony and to resolve whatever the conflict may be.
Nothing is ever hopeless to those who trust and obey Christ. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ropheka (God our healer) for healing the numerous piercing of my heart and renewing my crushed spirit. I joyously give thanks in the name of He who was close to His brokenhearted and crushed disciples after His resurrection Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesussweet love bless you today and every day.
