How to Be Lonely.

FOLLOWING CHTISTS EXAMPLE

Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought. Romans 12:3 New International Version

When you are haughty (proud) and place yourself above others your reward will be a very lonely life. After all, no one will be good enough to meet your high standards.

When you are in love with yourself, you will have no one but yourself. Joseph- Anthony: Green.

The higher your horse, the harder your fall. Joseph- Anthony: Green

So, you think you are so beautiful but then have a car accident. Where is your haughtiness then?

You laugh and make fun of the homeless on the street but lose your job and have to have a meal with them in a soup kitchen. Where is your haughtiness then?

Be careful.

God always has a way to humble the proud. Joseph- Anthony: Green

“In God you come up against something which is in every respect immeasurably superior to yourself. As long as you are proud you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on things and people: and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you” C. S. Lewis

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) consecrate me to be gracious and humble like Your exalted son Jesus Christ my great mentor. In His glorious name I do pray. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
