A closer walk with our beloved friend.

Accept the Little Children.

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14New
King James Version

In the time this was said children were to be seen and not heard, they had no rights and were considered some of the least in society.

So Jesus was in effect saying we are to accept the least equal to the most important. Indeed in many cases above the most important because the least do not enjoy the resources that the wealthier have.

So are we not to avoid looking down on unbelievers or newcomers to the family?

Well, are we as smart as Jesus?
Did Jesus come from a wealthy or influential family? Was He a member of the intellectually elite?
Instead should it not be our duty to accept everyone on level ground?

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7 New International Version

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) create in me a gracious heart unto all you bring into my daily life just as Your beloved son, my role model, did. I humbly request this in the name of He who humbled Himself so that I may enjoy the blessing of being Your loved child Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
